Over that time it has become more and more complicated and less and less reliable, often fails to connect to a server and have to mess with settings to get it to work (If I'm lucky). More features == more bugs. Considering another product at this point. | |

I often have connection issues where the VPN is continuously trying to reconnect and the only resolution is to force close the app. I don't want to have to manually manage a VPN. That's why I pay for this service, but now I routinely have to fix the VPN connection and make sure I'm actually protected. It's a frustrating experience. | |

I'm basically paying $99 a year to have access denied to apps and websites. I contacted them with the information they requested in their reply to my review, and they have no solutions. I'm paying $117/yr and the apps I use most (where I spend money and use a credit card) force me to use Split Tunneling, which isn't secure. | |

I have work specific apps and they worked just fine up until the last update. Now I have to turn off the VPN in order to use it. There are a number of other things that require me turning it off now as well along with some sites that don't work all of a sudden, which are some work websites. | |

WiFi internet too which is the most frustrating. I got full bars but ExVPN drops connection and I'll spend an hour trying to reconnect. Best to wait a few weeks for the next update and forget I have a phone. Ive also seen people complain about Australian search results whilst in a US server. I get that as well. | |

You cannot cancel in the app and have to contact support. It's so confusing and a waste of time. I spent 4 hours trying to solve this issue and just canceled everything. 2024-08-18 | Hello | Since this latest update, my connection OFTEN freezes & then drops. Since I have kill switch enabled, this means that if I am in a conference call, I GET LOGGED OUT. This is a problem!! And I shouldn't have to turn off my VPN just to go online reliably -- otherwise WHAT'S THE POINT of having a VPN? 🤣 WHATEVER Express included in the last update is TERRIBLE for Android 13 phones, apparently. Honestly I have no patience to deal with apps that don't function nore get enrolled in the service that I can't use for $99. I am thankful that there was a 7 day free trial so I wasn't charged right away for a service that I couldn't get access to. 🤷♀️ |
