2024-11-29 | Ian Botterill | I would say C64 emu is the best Commodore 64 emulator available. It has a good game compatibility. Link bios and link your roms folder with d64 games inside. Excellent emulator worth the purchase. 5 🌟
2024-06-15 | Artur Frycze | Usually it just stops at "READY_". At the same time other free emulators (RetroArch) work just fine on the same ROM file. Game runs ok only first time. To be able to play again you have to manually delete VSF files and restart.
2024-03-09 | Gavin Knight | 10000 downloads at $5 each and the support page is 404. This isn't a merchantable product, I want a refund and my last 2 hours trying to get it to work back.
2022-04-30 | Jared Hall | Great and fully featured but seems like the save and load from disk features are broken. I can save the file to the disk but then it doesn't find it when I load (maybe I'm doing something wrong?). BT keyboard also locks up frequently when after pressing shift/space bar but if i enter the menu then exit it works fine again. Other than that it's excellent. I use it for C64 programming and I'm having lots of fun. Thank you for your hard work Mr. Broglia
2021-10-10 | Ray Strickoff | Audio and video are way out of sync, input lag is horrendous and the color palette is putrid and terribly washed out. You're better off lighting 4 dollars on fire and flushing it down the toilet.
2021-10-10 | James Barrett (Xucaen) | I continue to run into issues with this emulator, but I can at least play games with it. Issue #1: does not recognize a real USB keyboard. It comes with a soft keyboard but why would I need that if I have a real keyboard plugged in? Issue#2: fire button is mapped to the spacebar on the soft keyboard even though I changed it in the key mappings. Issue #3: No documentation to be found.
2021-04-17 | Mr Brad | Please don't ever stop developing/updating this app as this is by far the best Commodore 64 emulator on Android. It's perfect for reliving my childhood in my pocket with hundreds and hundreds of my favourite games which I sourced myself that all play 100% acurately even with options to emulate old school CRT monitors with scanlines etc.. 11/10 Thank you for creating such a well polished Commodore 64 emulator to my phone
2021-01-08 | Edward Dolan | Just started testing it, but seems to work perfectly so far, the best one on the Play Store. Using on Android 10.
2020-12-31 | Tim Locke | The keyboard sucks. Most of the symbols are missing. This is emulating computers, not a video console, so it should be capable of more than just games.
2020-12-07 | Ronaldo Chambers | Too hard to set up. I really wanted to support this emulator because I know the developer actually keeps his apps updated but this is just too hard to set up. I downloaded outdated vice android emulator copied the files for the 1541disk drives & other drives as well as the bios& copied them over & it wouldn't work. Too much messing around while other C64 emulator boot you straight into BASIC with a virtual keyboard & joystick already set up. On this app the set up process is unnecessarily long. |
