2024-11-28 | johnathan guisto | Ok, so I was trying to book a family trip. The city got switched somehow, and the wrong reservation was made. I was never able to get it canceled. I have now been charged, and there is no "contact us" option that gets you to a human, and the virtual assistant is absolutely useless. Avoid Expedia unless you have money to burn. | |

Instead, a quick and easy solution through their AI "tele-agent" that actually seems to anticipate why I'm contacting it and immediately solved the issues. 2024-11-12 | Janna Booth | I booked a car rental thru Expedia, using Nü Car Rentals. Initially it seemed like a great deal, but they were merely feeding me to the wolves! I was forced to pay an additional $160 beyond the rental fee I paid Expedia ($80 to pick up the car and an additional $80 to return the car). The $80 for returning the car late I feel should have been refunded due to an error in the booking (the pick up and drop off times didn't match my booking). Expedia knowingly does business with shady companies!! | |

I want something close to a specific attraction but your map doesn't map the address I put in. There needs to be a filter for free parking. Not just parking but free parking. You're willing to pay for it you can find parking anywhere! | |
2024-11-03 | Vincent Leahy | The app and online offer different deals. App did not allow me to package a car so the cost was higher than the price I had seen online. Try to resolve in customer service and it was impossible. I wasted 1 1/2 hours and the solution was to cancel and rebook. Did that and the same trip whem I rebooted had changed one leg of the flight from first class to economy. Another 3 hours of customer service time with no solution, only cancel and rebook. 2024-11-02 | Frederick Engelhardt | Complete trash, cannot sign in if your default browser is kiwi or if you made a new email you can't sign in, links to browsers are all broken. What's the point of the app if it takes you to the web? Other problems...list scrolling is low fps, feels janky laggy, the submit and issue hides being a keyboard when typing below keyboard. Come on expedia build the app so you can use it...fyi this is an issue on a foldable (fold6). I recommend people just use the website. | |
2024-10-31 | Teri Bowen | Great app for travel however my Trip was cancelled because of Hurricane Francine and they were not helpful in getting a refund. I was in my own. I purchased the insurance. The Deajs are awesome but beware of the non refundable. Expedia makes it very difficult to contact them and even when you do you get an operator that is reading from a script and has no clue what is going on because they don't speak English. They just read the same script over and over. | |
2024-10-27 | E Walker | I booked a reservation yesterday to a hotel that apparently did not have any rooms available, despite Expedia showing that there WAS a room available. Thank God I chose to pay upon check-in, because if I had paid beforehand, I would have had to cancel my card, because Expedia won't allow me to cancel the booking! The hotel has tried to reach Expedia, but the phone number they have has either been disconnected, or it's just a bad number. Both the hotel and I are extremely frustrated!! | |
2024-10-26 | Squish Fish | The price due when arriving at the property needs to include EVERYTHING. Why send a cost break down telling me how much is due at the property? I get to the property and its way more. It would not be a big deal if I knew the TOTAL cost. It turned into a HUGE deal when I didn't budget in the extra money because I DID NOT know! Spent 3 hours sitting outside hotel trying to figure out what to do in a city I had never been to. It doesn't matter now, I suppose because I will never use Expedia again. | |
2024-10-22 | s h | Horrible from start to finish. I told the app to reserve an accessible room. After I paid, the itinerary did not state it was accessible, and no one would help to resolve the issue. Got there and was told nothing they could do and no refund. There was black mold in several places. The fridge door was rusted all over, and the top of the door looked like someone beat it with a sledgehammer. Expedia was no help at all, and only offered a credit for a future trip for less than 20% of cost. |
