2024-11-29 | Carly Bridle | App doesn't work. Have tried everything possible to fix it. When I click on a meditation, either music plays with no words or absolutely nothing happens and it crashes. Don't waste your money on this. To top it off the company makes you go through google to get a refund and google won't refund me because it doesn't "meet their policies." So frustrating.
2024-11-27 | Nicole Kifer | This is actually a phenomenal app with a plethora of great info and meditations for new moms. I have the paid service but I am about to discountinue (and the reason for the 3 ⭐) because there are a lot of technical issues, at least for my galaxy s23. The app will stop and restart, meditations will stop playing, or right now they are not playing at all. I wish this app the best success and hopefully they can fix their technical issues because otherwise it has a lot of potential.
2023-11-08 | Emily Steele | This app was so incredibe the first time I used it in 2019. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of reliability this time around. The app has crashed no less than 10 times in a 10 minute meditation. That is not at all helpful in what I'm trying to accomplish by staying present and relaxing!! Ugh. What a disappointment.
2023-10-22 | Justine Theis | I used to really enjoy this app I've had it for a couple of years. The reason why I kept it was for the live events. Those were awesome! I loved the live connection you could get with the host/trainer. They had events for exercises and meditations. And those moments really pulled me through. I had 3 pregnancies and only this last one,we were blessed to bring this little one into our lives. The mediations are good, but lately I've been having a hard time finding one I like. I might not renewing.
2023-09-19 | Jackie Copenhaver | this app is wonderful in concept but in execution is terrible. :( unfortunately when I try to do the meditations, the app stops (I just tried to do a 15 min meditation and the app crashed 6 times - forcing me to come out of the meditative state and restart the app, it works for a few minutes then crashes). it's a shame because I would definitely use the app more but the bugs are a deal breaker and I can't get the desired relaxation in with all of the interruptions.
2022-06-29 | Elizabeth Rushinski | I went to cancel my $12.99 monthly subscription because it was just too much money for the services & how often I use the app. I was offered a rate of $2.99 a month instead. This seemed fair to me so I agreed to this amount instead. Turns out I was getting charged the $12.99 a month AND the $2.99 a month! My $12.99 a month subscription should have been canceled by the Expectful app but it was not. So beware, if they offer you a $2.99 rate make sure they aren't still taking the $12.99 payment too
2022-05-05 | Loryn Bortins | I really like the more focused meditations vs other apps that are overly general, but I really wish there were a way to download meditations for offline use! Also it has been a confusing process to actually set up a paid subscription. I went with a month to month plan and am just hoping they fix the download issue soon before I have to switch back to an annual plan.
2021-12-29 | Mx. Carly Wilson | I love this app. It's been helping me stay grounded through my (very challenging) pregnancy. I like that there are different time frames [5, 10, 20 minutes] to choose from. There's a new meditation for each week of the pregnancy. Doing these meditations definitely helps me feel closer to my baby. I just wish the live events could be accessed afterwards for different times zones, but that's not a huge deal for me.
2021-12-22 | Sarah Bowser | When I found out that I was pregnant, I read several articles on the "Best Apps for Pregnancy" but I never saw this one. I tried several apps and didn't enjoy any of them. Then I heard about this app while listening to a Birthful podcast. Trust me, this app is incredible. It offers far more than nice pregnancy meditations; it has education on the physiological process of birth, live classes such as prenatal fitness and group meditations, and a full blown hypnobirthing course. I highly recommend!
2021-12-10 | Rachael Lyon | I was really enjoying my subscription and its offerings for two days before it stopped working. I am unable to make it past the loading screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I reached out to Expectful and kept an eye on their social media to see if it was an overall app issue, but have not heard back. I do not want to continue paying for something I'm unable to use, so I hope it's resolved soon. |
