2020-09-09 | Isaac Burke | A few weird glitches. A few scenarios where it's impossible to tell which block has the mine. I wish the number on the mine counter blocks went down as you flagged connected blocks, because sometimes at the pace I play I don't see that a number already has all the connected mines on it, which leads me to make mistakes.
2020-08-21 | Justin McFall | Nice implementation but kind of sketchy. It takes an insane amount of CPU and once after installing, my wallpaper got reset, didn't think it was related. When it had a huge update, that seemed odd to me for a minesweeper game so I uninstalled and when I did my phone's wallpaper went black and then reset again.
2020-01-24 | A Google user | Pretty good port, decent controls. Biggest issue is the random generation of the mines leads to pretty much every "hard" game just coming down to 50/50 chances and a lot of them. I had played around 10 games of hard, won 0, and lost all of them to failing a 50/50 due to the sheer amount of them per level.
2019-12-18 | A Google user | Great app but needs something on screen that shows if you've pressed long enough to flag/click. Maybe like the hold to complete circle used for console games? Regardless of chosen press time, the amount of times it "clicks" a bomb when you try to flag is just too damn high. I don't think it's reading wrong, but its hard to time your "clicks" when using a screen cover, because it doesn't always register right away. Feels bad to lose a good game from a known bomb as a result.
2019-11-30 | A Google user | Okay-ish. I don't know if it's my lack of experience playing minesweeper, but I'm sure it wasn't possible to win my first "expert game" without any hints. Some situations could be solved by multiple flag patterns. However, usually wherever such situations arose the bombs tended to be placed in a position which represented the most indicators at once. Although I play minesweeper, based on knowledge, not on probability and an assumption of efficient bomb positioning.
2019-11-10 | A Google user | It's a good game, but I have noticed a slight bug... it won't always accept a tap. It'll blink, but then it returns the square to normal, like you never tapped it. Also, animations would be cool, like havings little explosions if you hit a mine. Also, could you please add an option to turn off the thing where if you tap a number it taps all nearby squares?
2019-10-07 | A Google user | One of the best minesweeper games, with plenty of customization. Wish there was an option to turn the automatic clearing when you tap a number off, so I could get that original feel of being forced to hit every square when you know it's safe. Feels a little bit like I'm cheating myself to use it, but as long as it's there I'm going to. So I would like to turn that off. Well made game though.
2019-09-01 | A Google user | I love this app. It's my go-to game to play when I have the time. There are many features that help you play the way you want. There's only 1 major thing that keeps it from being amazing in my opinion. Every single time on expert difficulty, I'm forced to make multiple 50/50 choices and end up losing because of it. It's aggravating and doesn't feel like a deserved loss. Maybe the original was like that too and just never knew but fixing that would make this 5 stars easy to me.
2019-08-29 | A Google user | I know you've been told this before, and have added them, but could you make it so there's a shorter time for long press? Or maybe a thing so you can put how long you want the press to be in seconds. Sometimes I lose because I meant to put a flag, but I didn't press long enough and the mine blew up. Other than that, it's an amazing app! I really love it, it's great
2019-08-20 | A Google user | I stopped playing a version because it did not include the "?". Found this version superior to others! Full-screen ads 'tween games arent invasive nor interruptive. "Expert" level is nearly impossible, as it should challenge serious & talented players, while "easy" is great for beginners & quick for 'stolen moments'! SUGGESTION: If I could make a request — add a couple more levels between "easy" and "expert". "Normal" is typically soft, & "hard" can be too challenging when time is pressed! |
