2024-11-26 | Sarah Vee | Used to really like this app but since the last time I updated it automatically turned on all push notifications and even after I turned them back off in the settings, I continue getting unwanted notifs about stuff I will never be interested in. This should be illegal. I need it for ticketed events, but this app is trash now.
2024-11-20 | Ki Ki | I freaking adore eventbrite as a company. The concept is amazing and I've attended so many phenomenal free local events and activities I never would have found out about otherwise through this service. With all of that being said however, the app does leave much to be desired. It's cluttered with not a very good UI and the search feature isn't great. If they overhaul the apps functionality they will be 5 star all the way because the company is stellar !
2024-11-07 | Missy Padilla Runyon | Very glitchy. My recycling service uses it for their every-other-week pop up, and the Get Tickets button never loads the first time. I have to go back to the email and open the link again. This time I had to do it four times, and then it kept changing the ticket to 0 with an error message that I need to select at least one ticket. Wow.
2024-11-01 | Claire Marie-Peterson | I loathe Eventbrite. It hides the content of interest to me behind its own persistent presence. I hate going through Eventbrite to get addresses, Zoom links, and other event details. In an early experience, the app autofilled a misspelled version of my name (no doubt originally mispoked on the 6-inch screen by yours truly), causing no end of inconvenience. Even when the ticketing process goes as it's supposed to, however, I hate it.
2024-10-23 | Shannon Flam | Eventbrite is a very useful app in theory, but it's search function is horrific! I'll do a search for NYC events and will get stuff upstate, NJ, and PA and sometimes even TN! Additionally, I can search for the exact name of a group and its events won't come up. The level of disfunction (and the fact that Eventbrite hasn't done anything about it after all these years) never ceases to amaze me! Additionally, the frequent crashes are very frustrating.
2024-09-18 | Sean Schicker | This app hasn't ever worked well and with the most recent update it barely even works. I get alerts for two different venues I like to attend concerts at and when I click the links to purchase tickets it kicks me out and says there is an error. This happens for hours and it doesn't matter if it's from an email or text message.
2024-09-17 | E | This app 100% needs a location [distance] filter, a filter setting to filter OUT online events, and a way to block events coming up in results from specific organizers. It's 2024, not 2004: I don't need to see events two plus hours away from me that I have no interest in, or 50 consecutive results for an online event that looks like a bunch of hogwash. Whoever UI/UX tested this app did a terrible job.
2024-09-11 | Stephen Lyons | Terrible customer service, if that's what you call it. Will never buy tickets from them again. I'll skip a show if I have to buy the tickets through them. Searching for an event with Austin entered in the search, an event for a Canada location popped up first. Not realizing that it wasn't Austin, I purchased them. While purchasing the confirm payment, it started buffering for a few minutes. Then, sent back to the confirm screen and charged me twice. Denied refund for double charged order.
2024-08-08 | Richard Schloss | Update: now 0 stars. The app takes forever to connect to the servers and load data. QA is absolutely needed when they push changes. Update: back to 1 star. The tickets wouldn't load (no QR code) and the app has issues connecting to the servers Update: ok we're back within the day. Review updated from 1 to 3 stars. Still deducting points because of the UX and UI in the app. The app is currently unavailable to connect to the servers. The updated app is broken.
2024-08-06 | Rose T. | Not able to register for free events displaying payment declined. I noticed a change a month ago. Just updated but issue hasn't been fixed. I don't know why the message "payment declined" shows up preventing me from registering for free events. I would like to hear from Eventbrite about the app and issue fixed. |
