I know that the company can't exactly control who sells products on their site, but knowing that they have good sellers, I know that if something goes wrong, odds are the seller and Etsy will take care of it. Plus, they have some of the cutest niche gifts! |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | I canceled an item for 214$ before it shipped and they didn't refund my money instead they only gave me Etsy credit for it, the items that was on the ad wasn't the same items that the seller was wanting to send me it was supposed to be a meta quest 2 system but after I paid for them the man told me it was only the stand so I canceled them. but I didn't get my money back and Etsy doesn't have a number or email I can contact them about it |

So if you want to receive messages from the sellers or buyers, you also have to be okay with advertising notifications. Edit: take note that Etsy responded to my review without bothering on checking. Trying to modify any notification preferences will take you to a page where you can only turn off all or none of the notifications. They do not care. |

They send individual emails for each item that shows what you spend in shipping per item but it's easy for the individual emails to go missing in your inbox and honestly, if I new that my £14 item was going to be $39 shipping, I wouldn't have bought it. This should have been apparent in the original cost break down prior to purchase. |

It shouldn't take a paragraph in the search bar to find one item that actually matched what you are trying to find. I also don't understand why they took away the browsing categories and replaced it with "gift inspiration." Overall this site has gone downhill and every time I give it another chance it gets worse. |
| 2024-11-09 |  | | the app needs serious bug fixes. i attempted to purchase 4 items, the app told me it couldnt complete it multiple times & crashed. i closed/force stopped it & when i came back my cart was f***ing empty. i found the items again, added them back, and purchased only to look at my current orders to see that it ordered TWO of everything after telling me it couldn't complete the order. if you want people to use the app, fix the app. this is ridiculous. |

From navigation to my final transaction at checkout, it's never been anything less than a smooth user experience from start to finish. Etsy has become my go to place when I want to find that extra special (personable) gift for the ones that I love. It can't hurt to download Etsy and give it a try. I guarantee that you're going to love it. Oh, and "you're welcome" ahead of time. |
| 2024-10-31 |  | | The app doesn't work correctly. It duplicates orders - this is a known issue and it is completely random. it also loses orders. Buyers and Sellers are seeing these problems. Also, I signed up to be an insider to save on shipping and every time I tried to claim my "free tote" the app crashed. you can't get anyone in the "help". I had to sign out of the app then go to my browser in incognito mode just to sign in and access my account and check my orders and claim my tote. Fix the app!!!! |

I love the layout and how easy it is to find everything when you're able to organize them by seller and favorites you can separate into different collections, you won't find that with Ebay, Amazon, Mercari, or any other website. App is easy to navigate, understand, and make purchases without complication |
| 2024-10-25 |  | | The lack of options for selecting notifications is obnoxious. I don't want shop updates/purchase inspo/anything like that, which is why I didn't sign up for them. I now get ones that say I've missed multiple updates and when I click the banner, it brings me to updates that I do not want. Trying to turn off these updates in the app brings me to my phone settings, which only gives the option to mute the app entirely. Okay. I can do that just as easily by uninstalling. |
