2023-12-05 | Reza Khaki | I really want to use this app with the premium mode but I can't because it keeps declining my transaction, even when I try to subscribe with Google play credits. From what I can tell, this app is excellent when it works. I sent an email to hopefully get help with my problem and will adjust the review when I can actually use the subscription
2023-07-31 | S | Really confusing. I like how it has all sorts of courses and things to teach but the contents most of the time are confusing especially for beginners. It's like studying at school, it's sometimes fun but most of the time it's confusing. I would like more practises and tests so we could really feel the course rather than reading long and hard-to-grasp paragraphs.
2022-01-21 | thomas berg | The new subscription fee kinda took away from the learning experience. Interacting with the quizzes and checking my answers was how I knew I was retaining the information given. Unfortunately that is now blocked off so I can answer the question, but I won't know if I'm correct unless I pay money. I can understand offering a few premium features, but now the basic features of the app are now premium.
2021-08-23 | Jen H | This app has been amazing, especially compared to the other "free" apps that teach coding. The content is ready to understand, progresses nicely, and provides examples and problems that make sense. Nice looking and intuitive user interface. Completely free, including ad free. Plus there are a TON of courses. I've only scratched the surface but I look forward to learning more!
2021-05-20 | Silvia Sebben | I've tried other apps in the past to learn python and this one definitely understands my way of thinking. (There's little footnotes in places that would otherwise send me down rabbit holes trying to understand) Layout helps keep me focused and the wording makes it easy to create flashcards from which to study from. I haven't tried to pro option but if it keeps being this great I hope to be able to buy it and continue.
2021-01-15 | Cozca | It's a good reference but not good for learning unless you supplement this app with an SRS system like Anki. The user has little to control over the SRS in Enki so I don't use it at all despite it being a feature of the pro version. A good chunk of the lessons could be explained better. I only give it a 4 because of the sheer content for a variety of subjects and I like the concept of bite sized daily lessons
2020-08-12 | Jacob Prince | Enjoying the app thus far, only having gone through a couple of exercises, the modules are clear and easy to understand without any sort of lingo that outsiders to coding wouldn't understand (without reasonable explanation). My only gripe is that there is only one method of learning, which is textbook style rather than having multiple styles such as video/audio, but that is a minor thing. Good app
2020-01-31 | A Google user | Literally the only coding app that's actually delivered on what it says! I'm so tired of "click and drag the blocks" style apps where you don't get anything clear cut and to the point. Like yeah, games are a fun way to learn, but for me I need something more like enki. I've been using it for a few months now, and can see steady progress. Thanks! Can't wait to see what's next!
2019-11-05 | A Google user | The modules and learning this app offers are very rich and helpful, especially when it comes to learning brand new concepts. Their database of subjects to learn about was a lot broader than I originally thought it was going to be, including topics such as MongoDB and Linux, both a couple of topics I have wanted to get into but could not find good resources for; Enki solved that problem in a way that's easy to use and satisfying to use, as well. I keep looking for to the modules they continue to add as they update this app. Keep up the good work, Enki! :)
2019-07-16 | A Google user | Great app! Clean interface, bite-sized lessons and lots of options. They even cover many things in the beginning lessons that other courses have failed to mention after completing their entire course. Haven't bought the pro subscription yet, but it's certainly more affordable than some of the other options I've seen. So far Enki is a great addition to learning code! |
