The ads are even worse, whenever I want to type on my keyboard it would randomly close making me fat-finger an ad that I didn't want to click on, This app is very unconventional. |

I understand making $ but ppl used this app when they didn't have minutes on their phones..& now everything require ver. codes..so I could still access my accounts using this feature. I'm locked out of my Google acct now because I can't verify that it's me! My msgs also disappear when I get a call or back out of it! Calls don't ring either! |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | I have used this app for several years. It was initially just a backup but became a way of communication for the parents I work with. Unfortunately, now the text feature does not work. I have tried troubleshooting using the help feature, but there has been no change. I hate to lose the number, but it looks like I'll have to create a new account or find a new service altogether. |
| 2024-11-19 |  | | Almost everything works great, you guys need put the speaker phone and all the other controls near the bottom of the screen, because when I try to hit the speaker phone button my screen turns of because of the sensors near the top of the screen, the phone turns the screen off for safety because it thinks I'm putting my face up to the phone, the video adds are annoying, and need to be scaled back a little not play every single time I use the app. |

I thought I could just transfer my number to a new phone but I don't see any possible way to do that! The only option I'm given is to get a new number. The other one has all my personal contacts and I'm sure there are a lot of people trying to reach me! I don't know what to do! Previously: One of the best text/call apps around! Good quality calls, SIM card option, ade are tolerable. Good choice! |
| 2024-11-19 |  | | App is constantly giving me a different problem. When someone is trying to call me I try and to answer the call but it won't connect the call the phone just keeps ringing. I try and disconnect the call and it won't disconnect the phone still keeps ringing. You need to do a real change up on this app to make it work right so many technical issues and problems with this app. I gave you all the information about what is going on with this app now no need for me to say anything further just fix it. |

You can get an unlimited talk, text and data plan for $40 per month, but you only get 10GB of high speed data, then it drops to 2G which is essentially unusable. Same with the hourly and daily paid plans. A small allotment of high speed data which then drops to 2G, which is worse than a dial-up data connection from the 2000s. |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | It's unfortunate that it's going down hill and it's gotten terrible for awhile now and non of the corrections do any good... yesterday it started making a sound like a air hose putting air in tires. Before that it rings loud once when calling out but quickly makes itself unable to even complete calls or unable to hear anything or anyone. Ad control also and requests money to stop. This is overly frustrating to have to hold down on phone for about 15 sec for it to load then it shows a ✔️ mark then 3 dots as if it's confirming. I repeated the steps twice even lifted my finger but when u do this the loading progress goes down. I don't want to contact an email about something that's already a known issue but that's message I will receive |
| 2024-11-09 |  | | My contacts are saying they can BARELY HEAR ME this week, despite our volumes being full up! We tried hanging up and re-calling ea other to no avail! I've been using Textnow as my main phone # for years and rarely had any issues til now. Our connections are both good & we're not using earbuds either. My mic is good- I have no problem doing video/audio calls on Whatsapp or Messenger, So it's definitely THIS App. I tried restarting my phone & just Reinstalled this app. Pls help!!! |
