2024-10-19 | Robert | It's great but unnecessary for me at least. It's really nice but I just don't see why I need antivirus on Android when Android, especially on my Pixel, is very secure and I update my phone and all its apps all the time. There are so many protections in place already on my Pixel that I can't justify the hit on my battery life. For just 10 bucks though, not bad, but I uninstalled it to save resources on my phone.
2024-09-16 | Eric The Nod | Works well, and a nice clean interface. My only complaint is that I can't add this to my Emsisoft Management Console. This is a real miss, as a single management location would be very useful.
2024-07-21 | Paul Lampkin | I sent several emails, I have a brand new unboxed phone and I've never had a chance to use it. It's been 4 days! Really what's the hold up? This is the most unprofessional, and straight disrespectful experiances I have ever had from a so-called security service. Emsisoft should be ashamed.
2024-07-15 | Steven Kempner | What's the point of this app? What it's supposed to do contradicts imo a plethora of things. Data Safety emergence recently a good thing but this app with 34 permissions and plenty dripping in red paint being Undefined. Instead of Data Safety in this apps case considering what you collect oversteps it. Worse is the type of app this is and sharing personal info is after everything I said reason to delete. Data Safety means nothing really and easy to see why develops not made to list them
2024-06-15 | MrAaron Haszèrrd | Emsisoft, once upon a time passed, the world leader for 0-day, host intrusion protection security... Now, just another UNRELIABLE brand name that fails to secure, fails to provide contingent options, fails to deliver services promised, riddled with errors, crashes, & does not have the access required to facilitate privacy 🔏 & Security on ANY android (no-root) FAILS TO OFFER ALTERNATIVE OPTION FOR CONSUMER SECURITY PARAMOUNT IN MOBILE PRIVACY, I.E. no permission "device owner". Pity, Petty, sad.
2024-06-03 | Sarien Norris | This app is similar to Bitdefender as It quick, can detect malicious apps whether I installed on my phone. The security level is strong. As Kaspersky, thank you for free. I recommend choosing this
2024-03-05 | The Outcast | Very poor. App lock doesn't work. Tech support doesn't respond. Advise not wasting your money here, there are so many established alternatives worth checking out.
2024-02-18 | Rocky | Great antivirus software. Uses the Bitdefender AV engine. I do not understand why people are leaving negative reviews saying it is s Bitdefender knockoff etc. They pay Bitdenfer a licensing fee to use their AV engine. Their not the only company to do so. Bitdenfer licenses its AV and signitures to multiple other companies. Appreciate the fact that Emsisoft is paying a licensing fee for you to use a VERY GOOD antivirus for FREE. I do not understand how people complain about something free.
2024-01-15 | Niamh F | Been going great. All the smoothness of the Bitdefender app, but supporting a more privacy-oriented company. (Not that there's such thing as great privacy on Android, but oh well.) Wish it was easier to get started with payment, but with that done it's been a breeze. App lock feature is useful.
2023-10-07 | J Lane | Even with many posted Play Store complaints about the login being limited exclusively to a Google account, it is still the only way to use this software. Bad form, Peter! So like the other people who don't want the constant spying nor agree with the surveillance economy, I promptly uninstalled this app. And the bad experience has soured my opinion of Emsisoft. |
