WASTE OF MONEY! Not only does it refuse to connect to the "camera" , the app DOES NOT record video unless you subscribe to their cloud service! TOTAL RIPOFF! FALSE ADVERTISING! You'll buy this "camera" & after setup wait maybe 5 minutes tops & you see it doesn't connect at all. Nice scam though, selling it on Amazon. Really is a complete waste of time!
Just got it today, so still working with it, but must say it's pretty darn good for the price. However, it really irks me that it's not readily compatible with a Windows PC. I mean how nice would it be to have the doorbell ring while in my office and for immediately seeing who's there on a large monitor? Interestingly though, it supposedly works with chromebook, so Google must own or have a stake in this device somewhere.
Look I really have enjoyed the cameras and the app for about 2 years now, HAD BEEN really good very seldom a glitch. For the past 4 months though, the motion detection turns off once a day at least. I've contacted customer service they continue to tell me to "cancel battery optimization", which i do EVERY DAY to no use. The entire point is to surveil our home for a sense of security. I'm going to give it another month and if not working for what I pay in canceling and folding, gonna get ring
