2024-12-31 | Shiona Walker | They immediately blocked my account wen I tried to set up my attached bank card and won't let me use it without a mainland china bank card. Being that I live in the UK that is impossible.
2024-12-24 | Jack Wang | Absolutely terrible user experience. I got banned right after downloading and uploading my passport information. The app is extremely buggy as well. Would recommend using wechat pay instead.
2024-12-23 | Van B | Quality wise, this is a horrible app. If you traveling to China you pretty much every use alipay or WeChat, there isn't another option. There's no incentive for them to do better.
2024-12-16 | Terrance Shih | Don't bother. It's going to force you to input lots of personal information including your photograph, photo of your passport, your bank account information, a credit card number, etc. and then it's going to tell you something went wrong, or you will be automatically rejected. If you try again a few times, your account is going to be suspended. This pertains to adding a bank card and also trying to apply for tour card.
2024-12-09 | Charmaine Sei | I am starting to wonder now if this is the real Alipay app or a hacker's copy version. It's suppose to be one of the most used apps in China, so it can't be that bad. But yes, I've also had bad experience like most people. My phone number was hacked. And got lots of scam calls saying I registered foe their financial insurance rubbish and I'll be charged $500 a mth for next 3 years. So much inconvenience now coz I have to cancl my credit card, block my bank acct, reset everything 🙄
2024-12-09 | Lucky Strike | After the latest update, Alipay app can't open some functions and asking for Download Prompt which doesn't work as the download just freezed. Can't update my bank cards details as it is also asking for Download Prompt. Update: Issue rectified, rating changed to 4stars
2024-12-08 | Frank Wang | This thing stop working today, if you click anything in the app, it will prompt to download 39.69 MB relevant files, upon clicking download, it stucks at 0% forever.
2024-12-06 | Hong Xi | What a horrible experience. I'm prompted to download certain things for the first time in order to use the app, and it never starts the download. It's always at 0 percent.
2024-12-05 | Romain D. | This is the shadiest app I've ever seen. That it starts unexpectedly at odd times and sends data whenever the phone comes in close proximity with physical IDs are tremendous red flags. Use it if you must, but to avoid as much as possible.
2024-12-04 | Doudou Wu | Unable to disable NFC scanning. The app keeps opening via whenever a card is in contact. |
