2024-12-01 | Louis Parry-Mills | No ability to cast. No ability to install on Chromecast. Bs.
2024-09-20 | Jim Monaco | It's mostly just a worse Youtube. It plays video--but not live streams?--and can upload video recordings. But can't screen capture. Most of the features that make Echo360 distinct from YouTube are missing.
2024-05-14 | Jhapin Shahi | When the app works its great but it keeps crashing upon starting up, it now just gives a start up message of please wait for the app developer to provide an update to fix the bug crashes.
2022-07-26 | Daniela Elisa Pribac | I use echo360 on mobile and it won't let me access any of the second semester modules. Also, not sure if this app is related to canvas, but on canvas mobile I can't see any recorded lecture even though they are available when accessed on the pc.
2022-06-10 | Amen Yohannes | Not a good UI and does not have casting functionality which at this stage should be a no brainer.
2022-03-20 | Stephen Beaver | Streaming is poor when switching between videos. But the fact that you can only download one 'video' at a time (my school has two videos per lecture with the same audio for both), and the app is locked until the video is finished downloading makes it practically unusable. Even with both videos downloaded, switching between channels has a huge lag time. You need a 'download all' and 'download in background' feature urgently.
2021-10-18 | Matthew Tichborne | terrible app. extremely slow, poor design and unfortunately the only option to watch course material.
2021-03-31 | Ela | App won't log me in. I enter my email and then just sit forever on a blank white page.
2021-03-23 | Some Man | Trash app. Doesn't use saved credentials from browser and makes you enter them manually repeatedly which isn't easy for a secure generated password.
2021-01-28 | V G | God, I hate this app. It's 2021 when most of are studying at home, and it can't even cast videos to the Chromecast I bought for the specific purpose of watching lectures. The UX is so frustrating. It's tiny and unintuitive, like it wasn't designed for mobile. Why does the orientation change even with the lock. I roll my eyes every time my teachers' lecture links open this instead of YouTube. |
