| 2024-12-02 |  | | Had to sadly change my rating lower because the app doesn't allow me to buy what I want no more. It keeps giving me the same errors everywhere that "seller doesn't ship to my location" or "ebay doesn't allow shipping outside the country". I live in the USA and checked my mailing address. This is a glitch caused by the app update. If I choose something else in sellers inventory that I don't want I don't get these errors popping up. It sucks and I missed out on a lot of sales and bids this month. |
| 2024-11-29 |  | | Dear eBay: The change to no longer have a default sorting option in lists is *wonderful*. It's a highlight of my experience to have to re-select a sorting option EVERY time I load the app. It's MORE of a delight when my selected sorting method even unsticks itself anytime I change to another section of the app. While we're at it, the half-second of time saved due to being forced to have a pre-selected payment method for auctions has been a most welcomed change. This is all sarcasm. Fix the app. |
| 2024-11-26 |  | | I don't know what's up with the latest version of the app, but several times now I've lost work I've done on an item's description. I might paste some copy, then spend time editing the copy and in the middle of it, if I was distracted by a phone call or watching something on TV, look down and the text has reverted to what I originally pasted in. I lost all the edits I'd done. This app need an auto save function, not one that undoes your work in the middle of it!!! Very frustrating & inefficient. |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | It functions as it does fine. I can make purchases, check descriptions, even participate in bids, so it does it's job. Problem is the app is stuttery and slow, runs like trash. My phone is only 2 years old and runs other apps and games with flying colors, but somehow eBay is just so amazing that it chugs, freezes and stutters up the wazoo. Can't say not to get it because I'm pretty sure there are no alternatives, at least those that are legitimate, just be careful what you're in for. |

I which there would be an easier way to contact eBay then just messaging or emailing, an phone contact number should be in place especially for anyone who is a regular customer or seller. I say this in regards to not being able to get in touch when it really needs to be done with a conversation. Messaging is good, but sometimes it would be nice to have a contact number. |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | No place to add 10% discount at checkout. Using the eBay app was the reason to place order, otherwise, I would have ordered on my pc. I do like the convenience of buying "on the run." But every savings counts on a limited budget, $4.50 off the Coach ID holder would have helped. |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | Love eBay. Everything I buy is on there. The main issue and honestly the only issue is there interface its literally garbage. It is next to impossible to check your eBay bucks and I've lost out on a lot of items because it doesn't alert me or it decides to tell me it has 15 minutes left when in reality the auction ended 2 hours prior. Edit 10/22/19 you just change the purchase layout and it's horrible 10 steps backwards đź‘Ź* NOW THE WATCHLIST HAS BEEN DESTROYED YOU GUYS ARE COMPLETE TRASH!!!!!! |

Routinely check listings against physical inventory because items have been known to "get lost". Get good photos, white background, lots of measurements, you can easily do most everything on mobile, except run sales and store promotions, computer for that. Photo quality degrades after some updates plus you can't upload videos on mobile. App is good for quick list, monitoring, and QR codes for shipping |
| 2024-11-22 |  | | "Shipping adjustments on eBay feel like a scam. I shipped a 13-ounce item for around $5, but later received an unexpected $66 adjustment, allegedly due to an incorrect system scan. After two months of frustrating back-and-forth between eBay blaming USPS and USPS blaming eBay, I finally gave up. On top of that, eBay doesn’t even notify sellers about these adjustments via email or the app. This lack of transparency makes it seem like they’re trying to keep sellers in the dark, not acceptable. |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | Your system is totaly broken now. I receive constant "are you interested" notifications for random items I have looked at while browsing, but I'm not watching or bidding on them. However, when I was actually bidding on an item, eBay didn't send me a reminder until I was outbid and lost it. I have lost three auctions because eBay notified me too late, when they were already sold. Are you trying NOT to make money here? |
