2024-11-25 | Lori Buonome | I been using this app for years , what happened to mass delete option or selecting multiple emails to either trash or move to my folders ? Is it a settings issue or an update that caused this feature to dissappear? Now I can only select 1 email at a time to move or deleted & I wanted to delete everything in my trash at once & no longer have this option? Your upgrade is out of my budget so if these features are no longer available unless I upgrade I'm done with it & will look for a new email
2024-11-23 | Bob H | Update Nov 23, 2024: --- No spell checking in free version. It also somehow prevents Gboard's spelling/grammar functionality while composing an email. Apparently, I must buy premium version and use AI features just to spell check. That's a deal breaker for me. Uninstalling. --- This app is loaded with features! I have switched email apps many times, and I usually have to give up one or more useful capabilities to get a more important one. Edison has everything I need. Love it!
2024-11-23 | rebecca redican | Can receive emails. When sending out any emails will notify it sent but they don't send. Not in sent folder, not in any of the folders. There has been many time I assumed I sent out an email to never gone out. Shame. Loved having all my emails in one place but not if it's only to receive emails.
2024-11-23 | Brittany Clark | Unbelievable. It's only been a couple of days, so I hope this isn't too good to be true, but if what I am experiencing is legit, this is by far the best personal email application I have ever used. The organization, the features...it's just plain useful. I thought my email addresses were just doomed to having hundreds of emails a day from random sites, but it is helping me clean that up, and it looks like it is actually WORKING. I strongly suggest you give this app a try.
2024-11-21 | Red Scale | There's so much junk on this app. Lots of stuff to disable. (Coupons, connection nags for integrations, separated inboxes so you have to check your mail in multiple places, loads of spam in the sidebar, etc.) Still trying to figure out what is causing some weird panel to replace my delete button, though... So annoying. I might have to switch apps if this latest mess isn't able to be disabled.
2024-11-18 | Sam Converse | Good app, but sometimes it says it sent a message, and later (like a half hour) I notice an icon on my menubar, and it says it's sending the message, but it's stuck at the beginning of the sending process. Problem with Hotmail, not sure about other services.
2024-11-16 | Jonathan Olson | If it wasn't for the truly sad ability of this thing to identify spam and phishing scams, it would be 5 stars. I do like the app, but ugh. I just can't believe how bad it is at filtering spam. No matter how much I block (I now have several hundred blocked), it does not learn. I was hoping since Outlook doesn't block the spam, maybe this would. I wish I had never applied for a loan online 2 years ago. None of these apps are smart enough to identify sneaky spam. Have to get new emails.
2024-11-16 | x z | Too soon to be able to judge everything, but so far, Edison Mail is the fastest mail app to setup that I have ever used. (And that includes Blue Mail, which had to be the slowest.) I added 7 new email addresses in less than 30 seconds each. This app has its SSL/TLS vs. STARTTLS goin' on, and this app also speeds way past the apps that seem to think their "auto-setup" actually works -- when all it really does is populate all the fields incorrectly.
2024-11-13 | Jared Rayburn | Excellent!!! I rarely review apps but this app solves MANY problems when sharing email across several devices. I have 8 email addresses connected for business, personal and kids. IT. WORKS. FLAWLESSLY. Connectivity is excellent, setup is simple yet secure and the menu options to customize are incredible. We'll done!!!
2024-11-12 | Sir Caustic | Love the features, but has trouble sending emails. I often have to jump back over to Google's email app to reply to people defeating the purpose. Also no ability to send attachments (such as uploading to file sharing service (Google drive or otherwise) to share large attachments. Its great for searching past emails though. |
