The home screen of the app is a bloated mess of all kinds of suggestions. I need a very streamlined experience upon opening the app. That way I get to what I want right away. Put all of the suggestions in another tab - not the home tab. The home tab should be straight to the point

Beware their free trial - you will be required to give credit card info (not surprising), but if you decide to cancel and not get the paid subscription, you will not be able to remove your credit card info (BAD). There is a link to cancel the card, but I tried twice and it didn't work. I've sent a chat message to the team in hopes that they will remove it. But that's a bad bug in the system. I also didn't like that I couldn't match the voices I liked with the translation I wanted.

There is no way to try out the app without creating an account. Promotional material highlights that it is free to download. However, it forces you to create an account and set up a free trial which then turns into a paid subscription. Other apps offer limited features for free with no account creation. This app offers nothing without an account, and doesn't appear to have any free option, even a limited offering. I won't create an account, so I never was able to try it.

Dwell provides a large variety of different Bible translations, narrators, reading/listening plans, devotionals, & listening customizations for an individual's preferences. I have benefited from their Chistms & Easter devotionals, the listening plans that arrange the Bible chronologically, & the ability to listen straight through the Bible. I appreciate the ability to listen to scripture anytime, whether for meditating in the Word or having it play during chores, exercising, falling asleep, etc.

The Audio Stopped working. I am in the middle of a trial and so far, I loved it until the audio stopped working on my Andriod phone. I use the audio to play scripture for the children at night while they sleep, and we keep receiving an error code. I've un-installed areinstalled, and now I can't log into the app due to an error within the app. Very frustrating. If this is not fixed, I will not be buying this app. I don't want to spend money on an appnI can't use!

I really want to give it a 5, but there's room for needed improvement. The app provides very high quality sound of the voices and background music. For having some cheap earbuds, there's something about the EQ balance or uncompressed delivery that makes the recordings sound rich. The daily devotionals and plans are a great meditation tool to start the day to mentally worship God. My complaint is the navigation of the player. It could also use more home screen customization where I can pin things

Great app but needs improvement with rewinding to previous chapters. It only goes to the verses in the chapter being read but won't go to previous chapter if you want to go back. Please make it easier to hit back button and go to previous chapter. It will go forward to next chapter but not back. That can be frustrating when I want to hear something again but the chapter just finished and I hit rewind and it only starts the new chapter over. Also could use more soaking instrumental music sounds.

Started out with high hopes. But I couldn't get AUSTIN to stop talking! I downloaded the app, chose the Austin sample, and then the Austin sample was stuck in a LOOP! I thought he'd cut off when I tried to play a selected reading plan, but the loop didn't stop --it kept playing on top of the selected reading plan! I cancelled my subscription, & logged out, but the voice DIDN'T STOP until I uninstalled the app.

I love this app but one flaw is the volume changes every time the book changes. Right now I'm listening to the Chronological NT and every time it switches to the next passage, the music becomes loud and the voice becomes too quiet, etc., so I have to constantly readjust my levels. It really destracts me.

I wish Dwell had phone support. I did get a response by email though. The rep said she couldn't find my account. How long will it take to get my refund? Tbe app is nice altogether but I can't afford $39.99. The free version is just as good for my purpose. The fall to sleep scripture feature is really relaxing. You can choose the right background music. You can also create a playlist. There's so much more to do on his way up. But I would rather get back my refund. I still recommend it to friends.
