2024-01-28 | Rebecca Savercool | I downloaded the app today, but I already love it! Super easy to add my continuously growing hoarded recipes, find some new ones and add them all to various folders within individual cookbooks. I like the simple layout and ease of navigating. My only complaints are I would like to see maybe a note section for each recipe for any little reminders for next time. Also, an area to note if a recipe is vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, diabetic friendly, etc. for reference when sharing and remembering.
2024-01-27 | Peggy Sindt | Exceptional program. Easy to use, simple to search by ingredient, organize any way you like. Menu planning, shopping list, print. Stays open while you are cooking so you don't have to print. Scan recipes, even hand written ones, capture from the Internet in a very simple way. I have it on all my devices and they synch flawlessly. If I'm at the store and see something that looks good, I can look for a recipe in the app on my phone & make sure I have other ingredients. Super support.Still A+ 1/24!
2023-08-09 | Alma MacCallum | If you want a terrific recipe app for your computer, phone, or tablet, you need Cook'n! Not only is it a tremendous recipe app, it has so many things to help you with your menus, food shopping, new cook books, etc. It's amazing. I've had it since 1999, and it keeps getting better and better. Tech Support Team is unbelievable! Best support of any service ever!
2023-02-24 | P A | I am a Registered Dietitian & evaluated many recipe/menu programs over the years - Cook’n is the best! No, I did not like it one bit when the decision was made to charge a subscription fee (I almost changed to another program) but decided to give it a try. I am so happy I stayed with Cook’n. Lightning hit my computer & when you lose most of your saved information, you appreciate the sync feature that saves your work to the cloud! I was able to reload Cook’n & download all my recipes & cookbooks.
2022-02-25 | Ron Jackson | Cook'n has been the very best cooking program that my wife and I have ever used. It's so good that we both have premium subscriptions. My wife had a catering business before she retired and has been using the program since. We tried several other programs, but non equal Cook'n. I have always cooked, but my specialty is pastries and I use the program to enhance my portfolio of recipes. The program is very easy to use and you will appreciate it as we do. It is versatile and wide ranging. You can query the program to get an unlimited source and number of recipes. Get it and enjoy it as we do.
2022-02-16 | Robert Peloquin | I have Cook'n loaded on my PC, 2 tablets & my cell phone with everything working quite well. When I've had a problem, Haydon at Support is very helpful. Although I wouldn't consider myself as a "foodie", I do like Cook'n. I find it very convenient and quite easy to capture a new recipe which saves a lot of time and effort not having to type/enter details. I especially like the ability to modify a recipe to accommodate adjusting for more or less people with just a couple of clicks of the mouse.
2021-12-15 | Ozziegar | Simply the best and easy recipe app ever. The software team are always updating with improvements that help it become very user friendly. The best feature is the capture function. All you have to do is find a recipe that you like on the internet and BAM; you tap on the capture icon and it puts the recipe into the cook'n app along with the picture that corresponds with it. The app is absolutely marvelous. Hats off to all the Cook'n team.
2021-11-11 | Sandra Golas | I have been using Cook'n almost since it was first introduced. I like the ability to add purchased cookbooks as well as adding my own. For example, I have a cookbook that contains captured recipes as well as my family's favorites. I receive to the weekly newsletters and have organized the 5-day meals that they contain by month and year. I can create my own menus and shopping lists. I use Cook’n every day.
2021-11-09 | Debra Ferreria | It's overwhelming at times because there is so much to choose from to make. I have been subscribed on and off for 13 years so have built up quite a collection. As the app has updated over the years and operating platforms have changed I have lost my pictures that go with the recipes. I can see them in my computer and there are tons of them but they no longer show up. And I have never quite figured out why many times when I open the application I have import the cookbooks. I have about 15 of them (I think) and it gets old having to do this. I have gone through several computers over the years so I just kind of attributed the lack of pictures to this. I have always worked so contacting support 8-5 in Pacific Time wasn't really an option.
2021-10-16 | elizabeth hennessey | The concept is great, follow through sucks. The system is time consuming and annoying to use, no ability to check multiple recipes at once (to delete more than one at a time), and I 1,000% do not need or want the recipe amounts in the directions text. The amounts are in the ingredients. But, if a recipe calls for 3 cups of water in the ingredients, anywhere the directions call for water, cook'n auto-adds the amount in parentheses. That is actually confusing as all heck, not helpful at all. |
