2024-09-01 | David Cunningham | I love the game but the initial loading time is excessive. It takes upwards of a minute to get to the menu screen on a snapdragon 8 Gen 2. I spend more time looking at the loading screen than actually playing the game. Edit: Developer fixed this issue on a holiday weekend in under an hour. I'm super impressed. It now loads in under 4 seconds. Updated my rating accordingly.
2024-06-26 | Kellee Becknel Matthews | I'd say it's one of the best of all bridge constructors. It's much more polished and more capabilities on average, which can be a lot at first. Could benefit from some real-time tutorials or maybe a sentence or two of more info on types of bridges, pistons, and springs. Could be more accessible for those with visual impairments. Details can be hard to see without picture in picture
2024-02-20 | Joshua S | Took me until the last set of levels to find out that in order to modify the connectors, you have to zoom in quite a bit. And that was by accident! Nowhere online or in the game does it say to do that. Also, the screen doesn't respond very well to touch. My other apps don't have this problem. Otherwise I really do enjoy this game!
2024-01-17 | Gavin | Should be "Poly Bridge 2 Mobile" Half the fun of this game is seeing the leaderboards, what other people did, and how your bridge stacks up. Without it, I find the game boring and don't feel motivated to make better bridges, just whatever passes the level and moves on. Even just a percentage of the cost would be great. It's a different experience from the desktop version and the name should reflect that.
2023-12-12 | Aidan | Fun game! I love the graphics. They're simplistic, yet the game has in-depth physics. I was also worried about performance, but it runs great on really low-end hardware! Also, the $2 price tag is well worth it. There's not really a learning curve per se, but every level is a new puzzle and lesson.
2023-07-10 | Kollin Stokes | This game is really fun, and I love playing the sandbox mode and creating my own situations to build a bridge for. One of the situations I built was I had to build a hydraulic bridge so that a line of cruise ships could pass through, and then some buggies could drive over the bridge. I created a mess of hydraulics and weight support, but I eventually got the bridge right, and every vehicle could go by smoothly. There were so many hydraulics that I called it "Hydraulic Madness." It is a fun game.
2023-06-27 | Andrew Fowler (Andrew Fowler) | Wholesome, fun and straightforward bridge building experience. Has all the features you'd expect and in my experience has been bug free. The visuals are as simple as they need to be and the physics engine is well thought out and implemented perfectly. The challenges are fun and with the right design it's possible to beat every level. The constraints given are realistic but also provides enough flexibility for creative and fun designs.
2023-05-03 | Chris Gonzalez | Fun overall. I think some things, like springs and roles and cables, could use more tutorial, same with options like auto draw and auto triangle. Biggest issue is my master volume in the game is at 0, but sometimes I open the app and have sound anyway despite it still being at 0, and have to reaccept the sound settings.
2023-01-13 | Nathaniel Itter | Fun, satisfying, and the UI works very well overall. My only issue is with how the game really doesn't give you very much in the way of guidance with understanding how each component works (the hydraulic controller was particularly frustrating at first) and which parts are actually necessary in what situations. A game obviously shouldn't hold your hand through everything, and it's good that it encourages creativity, but as a game it does sort of throw you into the fire at times.
2022-11-15 | Jacob Crowley | Filled with features that other bridge building games lack. It's also incredibly easy to move joints and connect parts, which was finicky in other games. The zoom view off to the side while moving things is very useful due to the nature of touch controls hiding things under your finger. Copy/Paste, horizontal/vertical flipping, curves/lines you can place for guides or just automatically place parts, sloped roads, it's wonderful. |
