Hey Dropbox team, I have just started using yr service & can tell it needs serious improvements. 1st, this app isn't updated since 2022 & we are stepping in 2025 so either discontinue this or merge & create a subsection within main Dropbox app for writers like Notion. 2nd, writing page or doc screen is cluttered both here, on web & desktop. See Google docs which can hide menus, and give minimalist & focused look for writers to concentrate. 3rd, no universal file formats to share elsewhere. 👎

Completely unusable, constantly signs me out when I open a document. This has been happening for the last few years across different Android devices. I can't access my own documents on my own phone as a paid user for over a decade. Reinstalling and restarting don't fix this either. Ridiculous.

As paying user it's nice to have everything in one place. Web version works fine, but app urgently needs a makeover. It keeps signing me out at random when opening some papers, it is not possible to simply reorder a list, no dark mode, no ToC, the todo's of one paper do not show up in the Todo tab... Update: the signing out issue was indeed solved with the instructions below. The missing todo items are still missing, also in a browser. Dark mode, ToC and smoother list edit would still be nice.
