2024-10-02 | Kacper Kozak | I enjoyed the game briefly on my older device. Unfortunately, it was rashing with external controller connected. It was also impossible for me to play the game on newer hardware, because the app is not compatible with newer devices (Android 13). I would really appreciate updating the game, so I could enjoy the game to its fullest.
2024-01-08 | D Hunt | Update. Whenever I connect a USB-C controller to my phone this game crashes. When this bug is fixed, I would be happy to re-review. The Master System/Game Gear originals are held in high regard and this remake works incredibly well and is faithful to the original. Highly recommended for old and new gamers
2023-08-13 | matt | I love the game and have no issues with how the game runs. The reason for my low rating is I don't like virtual buttons so I use my controller to get around this. However, when I connect my USB-C controller to my phone the game instantly crashes. I sent a report and a direct email with no response. I just want to know if the game has a bug or if this is intended. My rating will jump straight to 5-stars if the controller can work with it.
2022-07-18 | Misericorde | It's a great game with fantastic Eurocomic artwork, but it's too slow and laggy. Luckily i have this for console and it's there that the game really shows its strength. Recently gotten a new tablet and now the speed is perfect. This game really relies on the phone/tablet having enough processing power. If it does, then this game is a winner.
2021-10-26 | Dylan Sherrill | So this is normally an amazing game, and a 5 Star game at that, but for some reason whenever I try to play this game with the Razer Kishi on my phone, the game auto crashes. This is an amazing game, but if I can't play it using the controller I always use, then I'd rather play it on Switch instead. I'd like to have it playable on the go (and specifically in my pocket), but this game is hard enough WITHOUT touch controls. If they update it and fix this issue then the game deserves five stars.
2021-08-21 | Joseph Black | Very amazing and classic game but not ported with very many options. For instance, my phone has the ratio set up so the icons on the top of the screen are basically missing, which is very annoying. I wanted to adjust the resolution or side bars, but there's no options for that. Otherwise it would be a fine port. I refunded it :(
2021-05-06 | Steven Richardson | The audio pops constantly. I just bought a Chromecast with Google TV and bought this game because it was on sale but no matter what I do and which settings I try the games audio constantly pops. The performance is ok with some frame drops but it shouldn't be this bad. Other than that the game looks great and the gamepad controls are ok with some minor latency with the Xbox Series X and 8bitdos Pro+ controller. Overall I recommend you buy the console or PC versions.
2021-04-05 | Brent Ritchey | There is a bug in the secret area for the mouse. If you are pressing right and quickly press left, you will keep moving right. This is the only area in the game where this happens and it makes it completely impossible to get the stone. Platformers require precise left-right movement. I have tried to cross the floating boxes at least 100 times and cannot do it because of this bug. I was just annoyed that the audio in the game is delayed by about 500 milliseconds, but this is too much. Unplayable.
2020-12-25 | Daniel Gross | The graphics are great. You can resize the control pad and action buttons, in addition to repositioning them, but somehow this does not fix the issues with slow response. I wasn't able to jump and hit the first level boss even on the easy level. My character couldn't jump high enough at the right moment to do any damage. No matter what I did, it's health stayed at 100%
2020-10-17 | Antonio Falzone | hello and welcome to this detailed review of wonderboy the dragons trap which is a remake of the master system version way back in the 1990,s which was 8 bit game, this has been updated with new graphics and sound and remastered, which it plays the same as the original version, im playing this on my android phone as was on offer . The game play and levels , being updated , play the same as it did before and the remastered version is wonderfully reproduced with modern visuals, its a great game and will spend hours playing it to find all those areas, my only concern is the controls being a bit laggy or not 100% correct, this is when trying to do jump attacks or jumping to platforms. on a android it can be a bit hard to pull off. would have been nice if they added more areas to find and expanded the original as its a bit short. overal a great game , and would recomend. 4/5 |
