2024-12-15 | Coshanna Parker | Good game base. Graphics are old and doesn't run sooth. Audio is terrible. I am stck in a glitch and will probably have to restart the game because my character can't move.
2024-04-18 | Huck Q | The game is as captivating as the PC version was years ago, but I would have liked it better if some of the controls had been modified to accommodate mobile devices and small screens. Edit: I've noticed the game doesn't display correctly when switching between apps. In one instance, it even froze and did not respond at all.
2022-04-14 | bLaCk rOSe gODdEsS | Please fix Chapter 3. There is a glitch that causes the game to freeze, making the game unplayable. I REALLY love this game. When you go to enter the house on the right it freezes. Also, if you touch the panel on the wall of the house it freezes. I have to close the game out. Doesn't fix anything.
2021-11-29 | Dan L | Old school puzzle solving game so don't expect next gen graphics. Still hauntingly creepy with a great storyline. Game was recently updated to get it working once again...Yay!!! Years ago on my PC I spent hours figuring out the riddles to unlock the mystery of the Sanitarium. Definitely worth playing! Glad it's on mobile and that they finally fixed it.
2021-05-02 | Amy Anderson | Won't unpack files- have 40 gb memory and game will not unpack files. Tried reinstall several times. Tried moving to sd card. Tried restarting phone. Nothing makes it work. This game is sadly a waste of money, which is a total disappointment because I played it when it first came out and it was awesome. Going to make sure I do not super this company in any fashion. I don't like being ripped off.
2020-11-02 | Perry Peters | Everything works fine still as 2020 comes to a close. Unpacked fine, and keep in mind you have to hold the screen to walk around in a direction around your character. You also must re-equip your hands, thus dequiping an item in order to return to being able to interact with objects normally. The feedback for this is a bit questionable. There are also some items/objects in the environment that you can combine by clicking on them one after another, not needing to add them to your inventory.
2020-09-30 | Michael Feucht | I love this classic three quarter view style game. Great dialogue, story, and nice graphics for the time. Characters are all well thought out with their own personalities to go with. Thank for bringing this back. Once I discovered changing the controls, I enjoyed even more!
2020-08-15 | Ananya Gupta | Update 8/11/2020:Android 11, the game fails to unpack files even with storage permissions This game is AWESOME! If you're into point and click adventure and solving those kinds of puzzles then this is the game for you. I loved playing The Hunt for the Lost Treasure and then played The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle before this. They are both good starter games in the genre. This game (I know if comes from PC) was a completely different level! What a storyline, characterization, creativity - all blows the top off! If you had to pay for a game - make it this. Caution: There are two places in the game where it's tough. 1. When you're Grimwall, you need to go into the room of your friend to collect a 'sledge hammer or broom'. If you're on a mobile it's frustrating to click on it because the touch is continuously registered on the 'heater' behind it. Took me several tried to 'get' it. You can try to attach a mouse to get more accurate. 2. When you're at the second last chapter - you will probably need external help for the sequence of tiles to press.
2020-04-18 | A Google user | Amazing classic game! I had this on the PC years ago, and it is one of those games that always sticks in your mind once you have played it through to the end. Great puzzles, memorable characters and twisted locations, each with their own clever puzzles and mini storylines. Just completed the game again on mobile now, and it's still as great as I remember it! They dont make them like this anymore!
2020-03-04 | A Google user | Fantastic game! Although I had to resort frequently to a text walkthrough I found I loved this point & click adventure. It is quite lengthy and the chapters vary to the point that you almost get several games in one without relearning controls, etc. Great voice and sound and the gfx are very creepy but control can be a tad glitchy. I like. Bring me more! |
