2024-11-20 | Peter Chapman | This Boost Config app is obsolete and evidently was replaced with Boost Diagnostics which only tests connection speed and doesn't configure anything. The Boost Mobile app doesn't show remaining data accurately and when you try to chat or call customer support they tell you need more data or they disconnect you while trying to look up and type in the IMEI and Iccid numbers. Terrible apps, terrible customer service.
2024-08-23 | DavidP | I recently switched to the boost infinite beta wireless unlimited postpaid service. I seemed to be having a bit of difficulty getting my service activated until I installed the app on my android phone. Upon doing so everything started functioning properly, I'm so glad that this app was available, and since it runs in the background out of the way you really don't even know it's there.
2024-07-27 | Nooz Zoo | It works, but every few days I have to uninstall and then reinstall the Boost Config app. I lose service every few days. It's a patch for a bad overall system, and a very disappointing workaround. It requires me to constantly check if I have service, because it could be a day before I discover service is unavailable again. Then I have to uninstall and reinstall all over again. A device reboot is often necessary to make it work. Yes, every few days.
2024-06-11 | Brittany Jefferson | Didn't config a thing for me! It's a Rollercoaster techs couldn't help. Everything they told me to do, turn off the phone. Wait 3 minutes turn it back on, update your software, make sure mobile data is turned on. All of those steps I had tried prior to calling. Then the final step download this junk app. I was about to call them and tell them run me money back when I started trouble shooting on my own. There is steps on the site to change the apn settings. I did and it worked hope this helps u.
2024-04-13 | JT Bond | Zero help. Whether I'm sitting still at home or at work... signal comes & goes & calls are sometimes dropped. Randomly -- unable to receive calls/texts. While on a call, signal is often in & out & I miss a great deal of what the other person is saying. The rep was nice, but unable to fix the issues. She recommended this app, but it resolved nothing. I'm having these issues on an Android. My daughter is having similar issues on her iPhone... in a totally different state. Uninstalling. :-/
2024-04-06 | sherena doxtator | This seems to be useless. Just like everyone is saying, Boost sucks. My data only works once in a while. I usually get the top half of an article. I get to spend hours watching the buffering circle. My data clears up and works great the week before my payment is due. Once my payment clears my data goes back to loading and buffering, with a lot of "lost data connection" warnings popping up. Boost seems to be a scam now. They waste your data watching things load so you actually get less than half
2024-03-21 | Brittany Gibson | Boost mobile SUCKS! I haven't been able to use my phone at all since switching companies. And I've had to purchase data pack after data pack just to be able to use my internet! Plus they tried to add an extra $5 to my monthly bill without my knowledge. I had to call and have them remove all the recurring extra data packs that I had ALREADY PAID FOR AT THE TIME I HAD ADDED IT, there shouldn't have been any reason to make me pay for them twice. ILL BE SWITCHING PHONE COMPANIES NEXT MONTH!
2024-01-25 | Paul Beazer | Since the start of the year (2024), even though I have "unlimited" data, I routinely cannot use any mobile data for internet, only for calls/texts. Restarting, adding more APN settings, nothing fixes it. That's why we're going to a different carrier. At least with Republic we were able to get answers and fixes pretty quick. Boost does nothing for us.
2024-01-24 | MF Cleveland | Before Boost switching to DISH's network, I was very a happy customer, since its then it has become 'gimmicky' and a 'game' playing BUSINESS site rather than a straightforward corporate endeavor. Not a fan. Spotty service. Technical problems continue and telephony problems and 'quirks' not explained or solved. Not sure who is running this clown show, but I am certainly considering my other options for my provider.
2024-01-09 | Mark Antonio | Boost is Now Trash. I can barely make calls. I have to constantly reboot my phone. The data throttles on and off when I have plenty of data left. I can't even use their app to get a live person because it just stops working. Their APN settings are different everywhere you look. It used to feel like I was beating the system getting such a discount on the same thing as an $80 AT&t plan, but those days are over. |
