2024-12-02 | Kaitlyn Nelson | Discord is great for me to keep in touch with friends for things like online gaming, DnD, or just general idle chatter. While it handles PC streaming well enough, I've noticed that the Xbox integration has a lot of issues with displaying streams, refusing to connect or showing an endless loading circle for viewers. Screen sharing movies or emulated games also frequently freezes, making them hard to watch. I don't use these features enough to be a major issue, but it is frustrating nonetheless.
2024-12-01 | Rev | I think the app itself works really great, the design is really nice as well. It's really easy to adjust with and navigate through the app. However there's an issue I'm experiencing; I'm not sure if they're just bugs but lately, whenever I join an activity (specifically Whiteboard) on tablet, it forces me to do portrait mode. (I usually do landscape), regardless I have auto-rotate on or off, it just seems to be overriding my settings anyways, it's irritating but other than that, the app is okay.
2024-11-28 | Zip Zoom | Discord is fine to use on mobile, but it's not perfect. They like changing stuff that already works. Within the past few months they removed the ability to swipe left to see the server members and replaced it with the ability to reply to messages by swiping. This felt unnecessary and I would like the option between them. I rarely use the reply anyway.
2024-11-28 | ItzBrinden | As of right now, the app refuses to work for me. Despite updating it, nothing loaded in. I couldn't send messages or pictures despite full bars. Nothing. I later uninstalled the app to see if it would fix it, and now it won't let me log in. It keeps bringing up the "ultra rare error" message despite nothing being wrong with the servers. Please fix it.
2024-11-28 | Richard Gauvin | Discord was a great way to communicate with friends. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for how terrible the UI is, borderline usable due to all the bugs. Every single update introduces a new problem and old ones never get fixed. This happens on ALL of my Android devices regardless of what network I'm on (friends have the same issues too). Reinstalling, rebooting does NOT help! Emoji tray is a disaster and I can't even view 3/4 of my stickers. Now reaction emoji counts are clipped. Plz fix.
2024-11-28 | Franklin Day | I like using discord. I like having different communities in separate rooms with separate subjects. I like not having ads. it's a good communication tool. great for school and different classes/subjects. I gave it four stars because I feel it could be more intuitive for people like me who aren't the greatest at navigating all those different rooms and subjects, but I'm figuring it out. all in all, a very good communication app.
2024-11-28 | Large Metallic Fellow | It's overall a great app with great features and functions. But the blocking option needs to be refined, so it's more similar to the way you block someone on social media websites. Aside from that, Discord is a really good app for staying in contact with long-distance friends. Edit: The app is crashing excessively after launch for no reason at all. Please fix this ASAP.
2024-11-27 | Ian | I've been using Discord for almost 10 years now, but lately, the mobile version has been giving me a lot of trouble. Images and messages will randomly fail to send. When I try to resend the message, it will work, but it will continuously keep resending duplicates even after deleting them. I've tried to force stop the app, but that doesn't work. I'm not sure how to fix the issue
2024-11-27 | Tyler Metzger | I gave 3 stars because something has been going on recently on my phone. When I join a friend's stream and switch to full screen, for some reason, when I turn my phone to landscape mode instead of portrait mode, the stream and screen only stays on the left side instead of being fully on the screen. I cleared the cache, restarted my phone, uninstalled several apps, reinstalled discord and it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure what happened since last week.
2024-11-26 | Anarchist Moose | I love Discord, and I use it for most of my communication and whatnot, but all of these uncalled for updates are making both PC and Mobile bugs out. I can not be in a VC and in another app, or else no one will hear me, and when I swipe the app away, it doesn't stay on in the background and the call crashes or bugs out. Not to mention, the ugly small UI additions have been very annoying and make it less enjoyable to look at. |
