2024-08-19 | Melissa | Love it! Love that it keeps a daily log so you can look back. It does your Time, Distance, pace, speed, calories burnt. I especially like the voice feature that calls out your distance and time every 10 minutes, which I rely on as I listen to podcasts while doing my daily intermittent walk/jog which is 3 miles as of now, so the voice calling out my total distance every 10 minutes I know exactly when i've done 3 miles. I also went ad free forever and it was only 2 or 3 dollars. AMAZING APP!!
2024-07-09 | A MatuliΔ | Just what I needed for walking, also works for bicycling. Works with phone in pocket. Distance measured agrees with the same route I plot on Google Maps. Two features I want: 1. Automatically pause timer and measurements when not moving, like when waiting at a traffic light to cross a street. I want to measure my walking time, not standing time. Automatically resume when moving. 2. Show max and avg speed in stats. EDIT: worked on bullet trains in Japan! 160 mph!
2023-11-17 | Ghulam Rasul Imtiaz | I use this app just for measuring my walking time and distance in a plane city area and It has worked fine. There are however two problems: it does not stop even when pressing the stop button AND it continues to run even when I have finished walking, unless I 'physically' close the application.
2023-09-27 | Peter Fletcher | With 2 exceptions I find this device accurate and reliable. 1: If you stop walking and forget to turn it off it continues to measure distance. If you switch it on but do NOT move it starts to measure distance!! 2: I cannot make sense of the 'PACE' readings. What advantages does upgrading provide?
2023-07-30 | Chris Sullivan | EDIT: I DID love this app at first, but now it stops tracking if/whenever the screen goes dark. But leaving the screen on for the entire walk kills the battery & leads to accidental button pushing( pausing/stopping/ or deleting the walk sometimes) I am unable to successfully track an entire 45 minute walk anymore.
2023-06-18 | David Young | The walking odometer is exactly what I wanted. Clean interface, simple to use, and great tracking with good statistical summary. It's not cluttered with useless information. Well worth the inexpensive cost to buy the paid version to get unlimited data storage.
2023-06-15 | Kian Maleki | I loved it initially and I bought the full version. I have two issues with it. 1- the data on the graph overlaps and there is no way to drag it to the sides. This problem arises after using the app for 7-8 weeks. 2- i have recently noticed that the app occasionally stops tracking without any notification or any thing π€
2023-06-09 | Jennifer Postma | nifty app for keeping track of hikes. I like that I can name the hikes or just keep it the pre-filled date & start time. it is really helpful that I can pause the tracker when I take a break that way I get the true walking time. its really helpful that there is a slide "lock" for the start/stop buttons so that I don't accidentally stop recording when I pull my phone out to check on my progress.
2023-01-12 | Jaycee Adams | Doesn't do all the most basic things you'd expect from an app of this type. No average pace, no step count. The altitude tracking would've been nifty if it didn't claim that my perfectly level walk was filled with steep grades of 100 feet or so every few feet. (this might be blamed on the GPS, except its distance measurement was close to accurate.) Most unforgivable of all is the long, embarrassing, unskippable spams blaring at you. I don't get why it's now fashionable to attack users/customers
2022-08-30 | Frank | Very good, lot's of good info - distance and time every quarter hour, the route traveled, altitudes aquired, easy to use. Would like 1 addition. How about a pedometer also? 8/30/2022 still using it, works very well regardless of locations. When I'm camping I go for morning walks anywhere between 2 to 4 miles. It shows me where I went how fast my pace was today I topped out at 3.49 miles an hour and 4.663 miles Not to bad for a 71 year old retiree!! It's nice that I can review my travels. |
