Great board game adapted well. It's still possible to find asynchronous games, but the community is small. My main issue is that the app doesn't ever send push notifications for my turn. Notifications are enabled for it on Android, but there don't seem to be any in-app settings to turn them on. There's no option for email notifications either, which would suffice. This makes keeping up with async games tough.

This game could easily be 5 stars if bugs are fixed. I use pass and play. no ability to choose CPU level. I lost two games to the app freezing on CPU turns and if I close the app and restart, it loses all memory of the game. Very frustrating. No ability to autosave progress. Traders stealing pagoda is buggy, thinking I want peasant riot. It is also difficult upon starting my turn to see what happened. There should be an option to replay or a record of past moves.

Instructions on "War" are poorly written. Confusing at best. Half the time I'm being thrown into war by a NPC with confusion what's going on. Could elaborate more on the losses and mechanics on War. The instruction for it is very incomplete I solved the problem above by reading the official board game rules in pdf. Search for it if you're experiencing the same problem like me. [Despite its shortcoming, the game aged well and I've update the rating to 5 stars to encourage more downloads]

Brilliant game and fantastic implementation. I had never played before and it did a great job of teaching me both the rules and the strategies.

Great game and well implemented. Please update the app display on Android 12 so that the black dragon fills the entire space - looks kind of off with the white space and hard black edges within it.

Complex game but truly worth sticking with. The idea of gaining political influence over a map with different leaders instead of just conquering with an army is beautifully done. Pretty hard to beat against the harder AI but I like it a lot

Really awesome app which also makes learning the rules for the physical version much easier! Difficulty is pretty rough, but I wouldn't want it to be a cakewalk, either. Grab the Dire Wolf Game Room app to make finding other players easier.

A very good boardgame in 'hardware', designed by one of the best star developers of the boardgame world, nicely converted to the mobile platform. Another point in its favour is the fact that the programmers resisted the urge to implement recurring subscription fees or other rip-offs that are the scourge of so many other apps and games for Android. Reiner Knizia is a master of balancing game mechanisms, so if you are up for a challenge that is not based on the AI cheating, you will like Y&Y.

I'm dropping my rating because I'm finding it harder and harder to believe that the computer isn't cheating. For 6 games in a row i initiated a revolt once i had 4 grey guys in my hand. The computer always had exactly the right number to win. In one case I watched it play 5 from it's hand before and it STILL had the 5 it needed to win. This seems to be happening with soldiers as well. The whole experience feels lame. Please give an option for visible hands or at least an end-game log

Bring back Tigris and Euphrates. Y&Y is a good game but T&E is still one of the best games ever made. I purchased the app a while ago, and the game was pulled from the Play store. I can no longer download the game I paid for. Y&Y is similar but there's some key differences. It's hex based, and pagodas replace temples. Pagodas can be removed, unlike temples in T&E. The tiles work a little differently. There's also a neutral color tile. Online functionality is great. Still wish it was T&E.
