2024-08-26 | Andrew Hanson | Pretty good, I love the game and it's nice to be able to get a game in when I cant play with live people. It could definately use a turn end confirmation and an undo option, I have multiple times tapped discard 3 cards to get 3 resouces but got the one berry and card location instead, ouch! Also I would love to have the expansions, any idea when we might get those for the app? Thank you for the game.
2024-06-26 | Caleb McGowan | I really enjoy this digital adaptation. My son just turned one so it's great to not have to worry about pulling out all of the little pieces with him around. The game runs smooth and I really enjoy the Challenge mode that is included! As an owner of the Physical Complete Collection, I look forward to seeing the expansions make it to digital as well.
2024-03-05 | Joe Rayl | Graphics look really good, which is a plus, but they're so good that my phone overheats. I shouldn't be performance limited on a game that can be played on paper. And as others mentioned, the interface is incredibly unforgiving. Screen real estate is dominated by the beautiful graphics making game text tiny- forcing scrolls and zooms to interact- and the lack of action confirmation makes it very easy to get locked into an accidental mistap.
2024-02-10 | Andrew McKay | Great experience. My family and I all love this game! I would recommend an update for playing Miner Mole, Chip Sweep, Doctor, Wood Carver, and Monk. It's a great annoyance when I think I've selected a production to copy or I accidently press on the wrong part of the screen, the game moves on to the next turn without me using the card's power. I think a warning box (like when ending a season) would resolve this issue anytime the game sees a card's power is being skipped. Thank you.
2024-01-31 | Emily Fox | This board game is my favorite, so it's nice that it's been formatted as an app! The challenges are fun, and solo mode is solid. I haven't tried anything else yet. I do wish there was a confirmation button before fully taking your action. I've accidentally placed workers in the wrong location, and wanted to undo or fix it, but without a confirmation button it just moves on. Otherwise, 5 stars.
2023-05-04 | David Van Gaal | This is a very good implementation of the game. This would be a 5 star review if not for 1 UI/UX issue that is a constant frustration that causes less than ideal play or loss of points. The game NEEDS a "confirm" or "end turn" button, with the possibility to undo, with logic to gate before secrets (like new card reveals). The way that you have to swipe around the interface to see all of the areas periodically promotes an accidental play, with no recourse.
2023-04-16 | Jack Gregory | Nice interface, good graphics, runs smoothly. Haven't had too many issues with the drag and drop as mentioned in other reviews yet. I like the solo challenges and various game modes. Would recommend if you like the physical game and want to practice/have the same experience on the go. It can be a little challenging to read cards / see details when playing on a phone though.
2023-02-22 | Katherine L | If you like Everdell in ita board game version, this definitely gives you a great mobile experience. I loved the animated critter meeples, and I love that you can play a solo game against ai. You should know that it has no expansions, just base version. Also, take your time with the figure placement, the glowing helps to see if they're in the right place, but sometimes it doesn't take. Also, it's a big game for a phone, but zooming has worked well.
2023-02-13 | Katie Van Workum | The game is aesthetically pleasing and fun to play, but there are issues that need to be fixed. There are cards that tell you, "You MAY....", but oftentimes the game doesn't provide the "Skip" option so you either have to click "Cancel" to undo that card selection or you are forced to do the thing and click "Confirm". For example, this happens if I have a "Judge" in my city and I cannot choose whether I want to exchange the resources or skip doing so.
2023-01-11 | Emilio Collavino | My favorite game got its digital adaptation and it delivered! Great 3D graphics and animations as well as sfx and music. 3* cause GUI needs some serious tweaking as it's too small for cellphone (ok for tablets tho) and dragging critters around should be reworked as it's too easy to make mistakes when moving them around. AI seems to be okay but not smart and it's hard to follow when it takes its moves. Async and RT are both supported. Overall a great app tho. Hope expansions are in the works! |
