Does not return to previous app after defining a word. Even if the close the dictionary app and then return to the app I was searching the definition from it reopens the dictionary app but not the original app I was using. Please fix this as I have the paid version and as of now it's useless. I have to just Google the definition. Update 10-28-24 Still having this problem for over 2 years, now running android 15. Unbelievable!!!!

Over time the app has become bloated and slow. Currently it's not even loading definitions, even after clearing cache/data. All I want is a dictionary that's fast, has good definitions and offline functionality. Even when it's working, simply looking up words is slow. And I don't need word games and articles on what should be a dictionary app.

I've been using this app for a few years now and it works pretty good when needing the definition of a word. What really annoyes the heck out of me is when I highlight a word in another app and choose this dictionary app from the menu, it takes me to the appropriate definition but then I am stuck and cannot get back to where I was. I need to close everything and then reopen loosing where I was. This is beyond infuriating and it's been like this for a while.
