2024-07-20 | Heather Linkens | **UPDATED REVIEW** My husband and I still use this app, 2 years later. We have a lot of fun with it, but we still don't have a video messaging option in the app, even in the paid version, which is a bummer. This has definitely been a game changer for my husband and I! We love the games and date ideas, and we have gotten closer since downloading this app. P.S. I would love a video call/maker as a feature as well π
2023-08-13 | Jessica Leopard | I enjoy the app. There's definitely a different communication within the app. I just wish the daily quiz answers also showed in the journal. Once they answered and read they just disappear. There's been a couple times I want to refer back to what my partners answer was but can't.
2023-05-07 | Sheba Lathoria | Great app does help my fiancee and I with our communication and to try things we often just don't have the time to come up with. But the timer on the notifications are off. For example, if I got a notification an hour ago it will later say its a day ago or 4 days ago when it shouldn't. This is extremely trivial as over all the app makes love and understanding just easier and fun. Especially when my partner and I have our fights it provides a safe space to work that all out and be candid.
2022-10-22 | Dakota Bolton | Recently had a problem with a coin purchase, sent an email to Desires support team and they fixed the issue within minutes of receiving my email. Very happy with the app support and the app it self. My wife and I enjoy using the app to add a little extra spicy to our relationship. Only rating a 4/5 due to having an issue with coin purchase in the first place, other than that it's a 5 star app in my opinion, especially with excellent support!
2022-07-27 | Aaron Evans | Was great when they were adding content and you could watch ads to get coins, but they stopped updates for a while and then removed the way to get coins by watching ads.. if that came back I'd likely give it 5 stars. The daily quiz is a great conversation starter, and "dares" are a fun way to gamify home life: chores feel less like chores. Edit: suddenly I can see the option to watch an ad for 5 coins again! Glad it is still there.
2022-02-15 | Robert Lebo | There are a lot of in-app items for purchase, though there's a decent amount to explore and unlock without paying anything. The app even gives you the ability to send custom dares worth custom amounts, so with a creative and adventurous partner it's got a lot of potential. The one gripe would be that they opted for a monthly subscription model for unlocking everything. Personally I feel a one-time $5-$10 unlock cost would have been far better. Still a great app if you want to spice things up.
2021-08-25 | Jenna Lute | Well designed app and super fun. We have been using it for a week now but it has been a lot of fun sending and accepting challenges. Plus, because the messages are sent through the app, my husband is encouraged to stop work for the moment and see what I sent. If it was just a regular text message it would more likely treated as less of a priority and may go unanswered, especially if he was at work. Desire makes it easy to flirt and respond to eachother so it doesn't take long to reply. LUV IT!
2021-05-25 | Jesse βAviβ Goerdel | It won't stop labeling everything in the journal as one day after it happened. I don't know why, but that bug needs a fix. Other than that, it's all right. I wish they would have had a free option that didn't make you work up to the spicy stuff (seriously, we've been married for 7 months and together for two and a half...) but I get you need to make money somehow. Just seems like it would be way better to have it just be for no ads, and also not per person like, what? This is for couples! Wth?
2021-05-16 | kiara stewart | Its a bit unfair to rate it this low but I had just installed it and it crashed! I had to uninstall it because it kept making my phone non-functional. My phone kept restarting, freezing, crashing and I nearly thought I bricked my phone!!! I would have lost nearly everything if I wasn't able to uninstall it. I'd be happy to give the app another try but I'm too worried I won't be able to even use my phone.
2021-04-21 | Scott Christensen | Update: Pictures taken in the app can now be attached correctly! Thanks guys! Very helpful for helping us find time for one another as busy parents. It helps keep things fun and interesting. Ads can cover the text input area in chat. Second issue is that notifications are hit and miss. Sometimes you get notifications for messages and new dates, sometimes you don't. |
