2024-12-08 | A W | Everything is EXTREMELY overpriced. I don't usually leave ratings on apps, but this one is a TOTAL RIP-OFF! It's practically impossible to win anything. So, if you want to spend hundreds of dollars on absolutely nothing or pay 10x what something is actually worth, join by all means. I'll just go to an actual store from now on. Oh, and btw, the app freezes, and I needed to close and open it again and again. I'll be deleting it today and will never go back on there again. I downloaded yesterday.
2024-11-30 | Hannah Dillon | Waste of time and money. After a quick intro on how bidding works, I ended up with the wrong idea and if I had understood then and saw how little there is to actually bid on, I'd never have bought in. They say 100% money back, so we'll see how that goes, I'd tried finding customer service with no luck, finally got linked doing a Google search but then was unable to fill out a form or get a chat started. Everything I tried clicking on wouldn't respond. So getting my $ back is gonna take a min.
2024-11-12 | James Clark | Deal Dash is a waste of money. Bought a small bid pack. Rarely anything worth bidding on or that I would be interested in. Reviewing the win history for an item often shows that the winner pays over what the item is actually worth. They often pay more than an items worth in the amount the spent in bids on the item and the final price of the item. Bids cost money and you waste money by mearly trying to win an item. I'll stick with eBay; better items & system. Deal Dash comment replies are a joke.
2024-10-26 | Shaun Glasgow | (Review edit) still love the app, still5 stars. I do need to comment on one thing now. I won an auction, paid for the order, they shipped the first of two pieces as it sent from the east coast. I tracked for 3 days my crossbow, day 4 comes, check tracking, crossbow and track # gone, poof. I spent 4 hours on phone with UPS, and they couldn't figure out where my package went. I got on support chat with deal dash, 15 minutes, they contacted their supplier, shipped a new order next day. 10 stars!!
2024-09-28 | Mathie Tremas | I can only say this: 1) I know what the thrill of going to an auction is like (to some, it's almost a high - you get lost in it, and it becomes more of an addiction) and 2) I know that there are items available for grabs that people want/need through this app. SADLY, much like every other auction I attend - both in person and online - I browsed before getting a bidder number (I did not purchase bids) and walked away. DEAL DASH is not for everyone. There is nothing I want/need. 🤷 [How?!]
2024-07-12 | Hunter Ban | Haven't actually bid anything, but I've gotten the gist of it. First off the vast majority of reviews on the items are bots. Secondly, to buy these items (which are not as cool as the ads suggest and way overpriced), you need to get bids, of course you need to buy them, $1 for every 5 bids, Expensive. And that's the way they make their money. If you look at the previous winners tab you can see that most of them bought the price on a discount, but they spend 2x the amount on bidding for it.
2024-07-07 | Sasa Krsic | Seems a little fishy that they state that after 10$ limit new bidders will not be able to join the auction, as soon as the timer gets down to 1 second it seems to pause for a few seconds never reaching zero and surprise a NEW BIDDER that's name hasn't shown till the ticker went down to 1 second. Almost seems like they have bots set up to bid at that final second to drive up the price and have you continue bidding on the item. I don't know sounds like a giant scam to just collect your money.
2023-06-06 | Kottok Motors | Very bad first interaction. Right off the bat you have to buy a bid pack to even see the items. I wasnt expecting that to be a purchase, It seemed like I was just linking payment to my account. Items listed often have a valuation above what you can get the item for elsewhere. Only a few name-brand items available. App is glitchy and often freezes. Not a great selection of items either.
2023-04-03 | David Leoncavallo | The app is totally rigged. Constantly freezes up. By the time you reset the app. and go back to the item, it says it's 'sold'. The ONLY thing I've been able to win are bid packs. Anything worth bidding on, is rarely offered. They may offer your money back (will update my rating if I get a refund). But the weekend I spent watching (and bidding) items get get sold I can never get back. They may claim that decent items have sold the same day. But, I've never seen them until they have been won 🙄
2022-12-28 | Jason Kurtz | First off, everything is very expensive!! Start with $70 in bids (only way to even see items), so if you use those bids on 1 item, and win the item for say $10, the total cost is $80. Items are NOT "discounted" they are jacked way up. I've seen "winners" on $400 items, total "estimated" spent was $1600!!!!!! It's a scam and set up for failure. |
