Checking back, the app asked for approval again. Did the process so many times and still don't work. The person who designed it did not check if it's working. DBS App always loose out to competitors. 2024-07-17 | Alex Pang | Trying to apply to open a bank account with DBS and was prompted to verify my identity through the app. It can't even verify my ID card because it automatically turns on the Flash! Even when I cover the flash, it still can't correctly verify my ID card. Such an untrustworthy and unreliable service. Update: Just take a look at their reply. I have been in contact via email with your applications team and all they could do is resend me the verification steps. Customer service is non existent. | |

2023-04-27 | Kyhl Nuar | This App say there is a key logger on my phone. I did so many scan with multiple malware app. Went though background services, Admin apps and all apps . Vgaurd needs to be much more specific on what it detects how to rectify. It detects in a seconds when a malware apps can't in minutes of scan. Finally I did a painful factory reset and I realized its a volume key remapper from google play store which I use on a daily basis. After an uninstall and reinstall when the app is no long able to even start up without inmediately crashing, I was faced with a situation where the digital token 1st verification OTP was sent to my email just fine, but the SMS OTP never came which meant I cannot activate. Considering that there is NO OTHER hardware token option now available, I am effectively locked out of my company's bank account. | |
2022-04-11 | Evelyn See | There should be zero stars as an option. This is the WORST PLATFORM of all time for banking for SME. It is certainly NOT IDEAL. I have read some of the reviews and I have the same experience. Obviously this app is causing much angst. An app should work on a phone and not having to toggle with a laptop. Second, to change any updates is just incredibly ridiculous and painful. I also can't receive the SMS PIN just to open a welcome pack. There should be an option for a mailer. I am v traumatised. |
