2024-12-01 | Quinten Cooper | I love this app. And although it doesn't have every anime I'm looking for, it's still my favorite app to use when it does have what I'm looking for. The mobile app, however, could use 2 things. When in full screen your device is locked in one orientation and can't flip to the other side like you can on several other streaming services. I'd also like it if the video could keep playing on the screen when you exit the app to respond to messages or anything else like YouTube Netflix and Amazon does
2024-11-30 | Nashua Murphy | It would be a much higher rating but I have two major complaints: 1: the player won't minimize to be viewable while accessing any other apps. 2: when you hit the icon for a show it takes you straight into the stream. This makes it a hassle if you want to perhaps choose a particular episode without having to go through loading the wrong one first.
2024-11-29 | Trevor Forbes | I am editing this review because one issue was fixed and another was introduced. Randomly, during most shows, if will say "Something went wrong" and I'll need to press play again. Is terribly annoying and I can't watch anime with my family. Edit: bumped it up to 3-stars for the reply. I'll try contacting support.
2024-11-28 | FuzzBuzzGarcia | They've fixed a lot of the app it runs way better especially on the PS5. The title selection is smoother BUT my only problem is..how is it that NETFLIX has better QUALITY in visuals and AUDIO compared to CRUNCHYROll..I've been running my HERO ACADEMIA and NETFLIX gives you full 1080p,More Vibrant stand out colors also the audio is louder. Crunchyroll I always get toned down visuals, the colors are more pale and the audio is soo low I always have to raise my volume. We WANT PREMIU QUALITY!
2024-11-26 | Cody Crowley | Have no issues with using the app. My only problem is audio. I don't mind reading subtitles. I just feel if its been dubbed, why not just add them both. I like watching older anime like MS Gundam. But almost all of them are subbed. I watched them all on toonami when I was a kid. It's hard to watch something that you watched in English 30yrs ago. Just to find out, none of the anime apps have the dubbed versions.
2024-11-22 | Joseph Stinson | I enjoy the experience but it would be nice if you'd allow users to customize that genres that pop up when loaded. Maybe adding a way to customize the interface to the user so we can makes the watchlist pop up first followed by history before genres maybe or out the today's and yesterday's releases at the top. I think it would add more ease to the user experience if can adapt it to their preferences.
2024-11-21 | Anne Kessing | I remember more why I stopped using Crunchyroll. As usual, both the android app and the ps4 app are near impossible to use after a short time. They always get trapped in endless loading mid-episode. It will play for a couple of seconds, then freeze up again. It took me thirty minutes to finish the last 4 minutes of an episode. This is not a problem with my internet speed or connection. The app needs to be improved to stop this. I'm not paying for a loading screen.
2024-11-20 | Angel Martinez | This app is great by how it works in general. But the problem I have with it the most is the amount of ads you get in one episode. 18 ads in total on one episode, each varying 5 to 30 seconds. Let alone A LOT of series and episodes are only for premium. Also just like any other app, there's plenty of anime that you won't and will find here, which also varies on series.
2024-11-20 | SwimwithGamers | They've fixed the issue of not having captions on English audios when turned on, but now the captions are just wrong sometimes? They never spell names or unique words right and don't always follow the spoken words. Also, they've removed any translations for on screen text so now we often miss out on important plot points, and with how the app is I can't just screenshot and use google translate myself which sucks a lot.
2024-11-03 | Christian Grundy | Love to use this app, but recently it won't let me renew my subscription or upgrade it. it keeps on saying " Error : Something went wrong on our end. Please trey again". I tried going to the google play app to manage my subscriptions and it's not even listed there anymore. Would love to get this fixed as I want to upgrade my subscription. |
