User reviews
Users praise Vault - Destiny Item Manager for its convenience in gear management, loadout features, and superior UI compared to the official companion app. It significantly improves gameplay by saving time and adding useful inventory tools. However, repeated concerns highlight intrusive ads unless removed via payment, occasional UI clunkiness, missing features like element visibility in loadouts, occasional lost presets, and limited legacy console support. Overall, the app is highly valued for its functionality despite some annoyances and can be improved with targeted fixes.
Pros
- Enables easy and fast gear swapping between characters without needing to visit the in-game tower, saving a lot of time.
- Supports loadouts allowing players to save and equip pre-built gear sets for different activities like raids, PvP, and nightfalls.
- Simple and intuitive user interface that is easier and more efficient compared to the official Destiny 2 companion app.
- Includes useful features like Grind Mode for automatic vault transfers and item sorting for better inventory management.
- Highly regarded and recommended by long-term users, with consistent updates and helpful developer support.
Cons
- Ads can be intrusive, including full-page, flashing, and loud ads which disrupt the user experience; though there is an option to pay a small fee to remove ads.
- Occasional lag and clunky user interface changes making navigation and selection less smooth.
- Some features are missing or limited, such as inability to transfer unique items like splicer keys and inability to view element types when building loadouts.
- Issues with loadouts being erased after updates or new DLC releases, causing frustration among users.
- Lack of clear information regarding legacy console support, causing confusion for returning or new players.
Recent reviews
I had this app for years with little issues. Mostly it was an occasional lagging issue with selection of moves. BUT, even though I had it and paid for no ads when they had this working with Destiny 1, they still messaged my account on Bungie. Lately, it has gotten worse. 33 messages within a few hours. 33! If you like being harassed by them to give them more money, go for it. I tried to deal with their customer support but the messaging still continued. This is awful and you should be ashamed.

I love this app it such an amazing app, because you just load straight into you characters stuff without having to navigate through tabs to get to the stuff you need, so an amazing app overall!, Only thing is the plus sign throws me off a little bit with some things, but it's not to the point where I'm complaining alot about it
