| 2024-12-07 |  | | The app works just fine and does not require any infomation than a multiple choice pop-up to choose a language every time you want to scan. This is very annoying as it should be a time default setting with option to change later. It shouldn't ask you every single time what language. |

But after the last two updates it is missing from the shareable apps list that shows after any screenshot. It is NOT shareable anymore, even with ALL permissions given - NO permissions denied. Cannot send any picture to it (???). All my previous OCRed screens with their OCR texts are missing, cannot access them (??? bofi). DO NOT download this. Uninstalling. |

Tried many websites and apps...High accuracy even for non-latin languages(in my case which was arabic, many websites and apps doesn't even support this language, let alone accuracy). Made my job a lot easier, and this app was the best option if don't spend money on the task.. You just have to have enough time and patience to watch the ads. I am very very satisfied with the results(although I think the video ads are too frequent, they should appear after minimum of 3 tasks) |
| 2023-07-18 |  | | It is not accurate to recognize handwritten texts even though it is crystal clear. I'm using "Text Scanner" app for handwritten text recognition and it's 95% accurate. Meanwhile, this app is useful only for customization of text from a sceenshot. |

Appears in the "Share to" menu, & allows sharing the OCRd text directly. Has backup, import, etc Worth £, but for us occasional users, nowhere near £31/year. I suggest a *much* lower sub with, say, limited scans, or unlimited scans but ads. Or copy/share but no edit? (I understand that one-off payment doesn't make business sense, sad as it is for users!) |

| 2023-03-08 |  | | It is really a good app specially for those who are working on YouTube or all sort of platforms where there is need to write down the text by copying from somewhere, for those off course it saves a lot of time. So I would give Four Stars out of five. Reason being is that it is not able to copy the Hindi words which is a problem with, it is only able to capture the English version. So for that reason I am giving 4 stars. Thank You |
| 2021-09-04 |  | | I actually didn't wanted to waste my time writing the review. But still I thought maybe I could be help of somebody. So if you're considering downloading it, DON'T. 1. It crashes every 5 seconds. 2. Loads of ads (I mean I understand it's the only resource they earn, but every time you scan pic and get text, there's ad of 7 to 8 seconds every single time) 3. They don't let scan text other than English. (I mean they do but there's limit like you only can scan about 4 pic. Then you're doomed) |
| 2021-08-21 |  | | This app worked fine with no interference for a long time. As of August 21, 2021, the most recent time I attempted to use it, the app required signing in before using it. There is no need for this unless the app designers want to track users for some undisclosed reason. I have since found another app that does exactly the same thing that "Copy Text On Screen" does -- without requiring users to sign in. |
