2024-11-19 | Chloe Weeks | Great app, I have the pro version and it is worth it. I only use the recipe saving function but importing and making recipes is so easy. The screen stays on while I'm looking at the recipe and you can click ingredients/steps are you finish them. I think you can also access your acct and recipes online.
2024-11-14 | Todd Parks | Great app. Customer support is very helpful. There's a lot here I really didn't think I would use but the more I use the app the more I'm starting to use the calendar, shopping lists, etc . I like that there's a web component so I can either use my phone or laptop and everything gets synced between them. Very useful.
2024-09-04 | Matt Hall | I have really enjoyed this app. I use it for all my recipes. It does a great job of downloading various formats of recipes. I'm generally cooking for a larger group and I really like how I'm able to adjust the serving sizes and the ingredients automatically adjust also. I chose the lifetime version, because I want to be able to rely on it always being available.
2024-08-24 | Ryan M | I have been using this app for years and love its ease of use, importing, and simplicity. It is easy to find popular recipes using the recent recipes option. Import your favorites using any URL. One bug note about the import feature: After copying the URL you have to go into the app, go out of the app, and then go back in for the import to work. It has worked like that on two phones now. Not a deal breaker but just an extremely minor inconvenience. Otherwise, everything appears to work well.
2024-07-07 | Michael Mead | A great app that makes collecting and organizing recipes a breeze. It does a really great job of importing links and automatically extracting the recipes from the websites. There is also a Chrome extension that lets you streamline that process at the click of a button. I looked at a lot of options when I was thinking about digitizing our parents recipes and I'm so glad I went with CookBook.
2024-06-13 | Emrys Corbin | Best app of its kind I have found. I tired many others, and almost every one was a bloated mess trying to be a social media app. I don't want 10,000 recipes from random people or food blogs. I want a app that can consolidate the recipes Ive tested into one place, lets me do meal planning, scales recipes, and generates shopping lists, and that's exactly what this app does. I bought a lifetime sub over a year ago and it was worth every penny. A++ for simplicity and utility.
2024-03-07 | betty oren | Love, love, love this app! I have had it for about 5 years and it's functions and capabilities are awesome while being very easy to use! I love the ability to have on different devices & platforms for my same account. If I am on my phone and see a recipe it is as simple as sharing the url into the CB app and it recognizes the import. I am extremely happy with my choice!
2024-01-08 | Frank Garofalo | I like the app the font the layout. I didn't mind that you had to switch tabs under the recipe, although maybe having it in one place would be good too. But I didn't like is that you only get to store 20 free recipes for the free version. Then it's a monthly subscription. I would rather have seen a one-time buying at a certain price for all the additional features. I deleted it found something else
2023-07-18 | Jenny Marshalla | I tested out probably 10 different cookbook apps and this was the winner! Excellent user experience and design, especially for filtering & editing recipes, uploading from a variety of formats (even photos!), and creating a shopping list. I also appreciate the developer's transparency to upcoming enhancements. I am ready to upgrade to the lifetime pro version so I can add all my recipes. Honestly life changing.
2023-05-28 | Nikita Schapire | I love this app! It's super easy to import recipes from any website and consolidate all my favorites. It's not very difficult to import your own personal family recipes too. What makes it exceptional is that your recipes are searchable and there are a few ways to export them to share with friends. I subscribed for a year and was so happy with it that I became a lifetime member. Really solid app! |
