Used to love app. Now can't even use it cuz standing on the teebox struggling w/ the app is annoying the sht out of my golf buddies ☹️ -can no longer exit/minimize from the splash screen -difficulty swiping up to reopen from lock screen -app keeps coming unpinned -keep getting error message to configure smart lock, even after just configured -dots at top of QuickScore screen no longer work. used to tap them to jump between holes, now must scroll thru every hole -Cuts&Snips is g |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | Unfortunately, courses do not come up at all now. I had trouble 11/18 (before I updated app), but eventually got the course up. Then had trouble again 11/19, so I checked for updates and sw there was one, so I updated. Still cannot get any courses to come up - on its own or by searching and we live adjacent to courses and neither show. I only get an error message that tells me to tap ro retry. Yes, location services are on for this app. |
| 2024-11-18 |  | | I used to love golf pad. Its yardages were accurate. It's plays like yardages were spot on and it's a recommended club fit me exactly. Since the most recent update, however, the basic yardages are off, plays like yardages are way off and the recommended club is not even close. The recommended club for the same plays like yardage is completely different than it used to be. Today it wouldn't save the round. It just kept stopping and restarting and I could only discard the round. I'll need a new ap |
| 2024-11-18 |  | | New update is horrific! I cannot see anything while playing. Everything is too big and scrunched so you can't read it; shot tracking, recommended club etc. Entering players to a game is no longer alphabetical so it takes a long time to find my regulars. I wish I could go backwards to b4 version 20.0.39. V 20.0.50 has fixed the above except for my golfing buddies still not alphabetical. |
| 2024-11-17 |  | | Edit: update 11/2024. The team has implemented some good features. Flyover option being back is wonderful. The team is very quick and responsive to their members' inquiries. It's still the only app I'll use. Would like to see measurements start at the selected tee box instead of the tips only when using the app at home to preplan rounds. |
| 2024-11-09 |  | | I absolutely love this app EXCEPT they removed an awesome feature. While playing a hole, if you forgot to track your tee shot, you could add it before your second shot. I emailed help support and got an unusual response. It said we emailed you an answer and did you get it. That was odd, there was not an answer but if I was ready to bang my head against a wall , I could repeat the question. Again, I love this app and I am a multiple year user. Just want the tee shot add feature back. |
| 2024-11-08 |  | | Revised review: The 10-21-2024 update created many new issues, so I left a 1 star review. I then emailed the support staff of the app. Since then, I have communicated back and forth daily with them. They respond within hours and are correcting issues daily. I am very impressed with their openness to correct new problems and improve the app. Their responsiveness and resolution of issues has now earned them a 5 star rating. Keep it up! Thanks for listening and responding to a diehard customer! |
| 2024-11-06 |  | | I like the fact it doesn't need a data connection on course. I start it with a wifi connection, update the map and go. I like it enough to upgrade to 14 day trial. I expect to keep it. Lots of good info on club distance and green contours. The more I use it, the more comfortable I get with the app functions. Club recommendations are very good. I like that I'm able to edit out bad hits so that I get a more accurate number for each clubs distance. |
| 2024-11-05 |  | | Not as fluid after the latest update and not loving it anymore. Before when you used to zoom in on hole you could click to show the distance. You can still do that, but you then have to zoom back out to see the yardage when before it would if you your yardage at the point you click. This is just one of the changes that don't love. Also what's with the arrow when looking at the yardage and where did the distance to front/back of green go? I wish I could go back to an earlier update? :( |

I've been using the golf pad app as a premium user for years. loved it to see yardage and track my score on each hole. the last update in October has disabled the ability to add the golf pad app as a tile on my samsung galaxy watch 4. now it takes more effort and more screens to see yardage on my watch. very frustrating. I just want to be able to open the app with swiping once to the golf pad tile and then pressing once to see the yardage like b4 |
