2018-05-07 | A Google user | Won't connect to get quotes
2016-11-14 | A Google user | This app has plenty of quotes to inspire and get you through the day.
2016-03-15 | A Google user | There stars for the fact that this app is made. Strangely, I cannot access the app when Wi-Fi is not available! Only the quotes i starred appear. Please make offline mode as well.
2015-12-19 | A Google user | BUG REPORT: when you click the daily quote is in the notification area, you will not go to the full quote in the app, instead you will go to the first quote in the database. Please fix that. If you added a search feature that would make this 5 stars, but it only puts part of a quote on my notification area and when i touch that notification it will always default to the 1st quote therefore I can't read the quote in the notification area.
2015-12-07 | A Google user | I never usually write reviews, but as a newcomer to stoicism, I thought this occasion could be the exception. The app has a lot of potential and I must thank Consurgo as there aren't many out there. I do think there are a few things that could be altered that would give this 5*'s. For example, I do wish that the full quote shows up in the notification bar/lock screen. Tapping it isn't that much of a hassle but it doesn't take you to the specific quote! Furthermore, maybe the app box can be made slightly bigger, like for music playing apps? If there was an option to display the quotes in list form, rather than slideshow, that would be an improvement. The full screen ads are a minor nuisance for a free app I suppose. Regardless, I would still recommend this if you're interested in stoicism and need a daily reminder. There are many quotes to scroll through.
2015-06-30 | A Google user | Full of Banner ads + full screen pop-up ads. As I'm using the app for the first time, after 20 seconds I start getting full screen pop up ads for an action movie (or something like that) with SOUND turned on! Not a good experience. I would gladly pay a few bucks for an ad free version, but I see no option to do so. Other than that, it's OK.
2014-12-13 | A Google user | I use this every day and it is very useful for someone that is learning stoicism and applying it to their lives.
2014-10-16 | A Google user | Now that the app no longer crashes, it is good. However, there are still some issues. On quotes longer than the page, the forward/backward arrows and the random button does not appear. This is a HUGE annoyance. Also, when you tap the quote of the day, it does not open and let you read the full thing. It opens to the default first quote. Some things I'd like to see are to have the side tray organize the quotes by author, and to have all the quotes available offline. Over all, this app is good. |
