2024-11-22 | Philippe Amar | Too basic and not enough control and sound setting options. Other hearing aid apps allow to control bass and treble. Also the Bluetooth connection is really weak. App switches the calls or music to the hearing aids even after selecting to have the sounds in your phone. Stays for a few minutes and switches back. A setting must remain without having to do it 100 times a day. Serious improvement needed.
2024-11-20 | Bill Fleck | This app is in dire need of a facelift. Looks like something from the 90's. The "Balance" function should be renamed since it has nothing to do with adjusting the L/R sound balance. It would be nice if Rexton took some clues from the Jabra Enhance app experience when next upgrading this app. This would include adding an equalizer, ability to adjust noise suppression level and to save settings you or the Assist created to a program you can pull up later (e.g. your settings for a noisy restaurant)
2024-11-15 | Sonia Saez | I got this hearing aids after testing others. After I installed the app. It's totally different from what shows. Bluetooth is just for monitoring the battery. All the adjustments do not relate to the hearing have to involve the doctor or professional who gave it. I have others that even connect the calls and the music and adjust the noise around. Is it a shame that other aids are less expensive and do more. Telecare is to bother the dr. and I don't have the code to use the app.
2024-11-08 | Mike Hut | Bluetooth is not good - unreliable at best. If your phone is more than two feet away, or in your pocket, only one, and sometimes both disconnect. The settings are a joke - volume is about it, and it simply amplifies "everything" which isn't helpful. Noise is noise and making louder is pointless and counterproductive. I really wanted to like these hearing aids, but this experience has been a complete waste of time and money, even at Costco prices. There must be better options than Rexton?!?
2024-11-01 | Vic Schaefer | The app doesn't help you do anything. I try to check the battery status and it just I need to connect the hearing aids to the app but will not show me how to. It also on the volume keeps going to 1 single line instead of 1line for each aid. It also keeps changing the volume that was preset
2024-10-19 | Vivian Wong | 1st time hearing aid user. But the Bluetooth app isn't what I expected. The Bluetooth app shows disconnected when phone has been away from hearing aids for some extended period and my Samsung Galaxy S9 must be restarted in order to reconnect the app even though Bluetooth settings shows that the app is still connected. Also, same applies when the hearing aids have been removed from the charger. There should be a way to disconnect the app and reconnect without having to restart my phone ea time.
2024-10-02 | Eric W | Constantly disconnects. When it is connected, it switches to phone and headphones connection when I don't want it to. There's no equalizer to lower the highest pitches. I've needed to reduce sibilance caused by the ultra high pitched sounds being way too loud but there's no way to do that without muting or lowering wanted frequencies along with the shrill sounds. This isn't very high tech. Walkmans from Radio Shack had equalizers.
2024-09-28 | Lynn Paustian | The app was installed at Costco. I have Kirkland KS 8.0T aids. The screen to control volume has a slide for CROS and a slide for Volume. The right hearing aid makes no sounds only the left aid. Adjusting either slide doesn't increase volume. At the bottom are two buttons one for Volume and one for balance. I've un-installed and reinstalled to no avail.
2024-09-16 | J A | I've been using this app for 2 months with a Samsung A51, Android 13 OS and with Rexton Reach aids. It has worked perfectly. With all the flexibility and options, I see why it doesn't retain settings. Go to your hearing aid provider if you need permanent tweeks. Rexton Reach aids from Costco are working great, too. I have about a 50% hearing loss in both ears.
2024-09-12 | LuAnn Shaffer | Not anything innovative in this app. Doesn't offer too much in the way of controlling hearing aids for better sound or hearing quality. It makes an attempt at some fancy adjustments, but in reality it is just sliding the volume up and down. The hearing aids fade in an out at the worst times. The directional sensors pick up noises that you aren't even facing. I can't hear what people are saying (voices) close to me but I sure can hear the noises in next room. If you are a Signia user, stay there. |
