2021-07-31 | yeryayas | Super useful for learning scales. It's nice that you can set custom tunings and even mandolin or banjo as well - it makes learning those instruments easier if you're a guitar person. The test mode is great for quizzing yourself and the full mode is really good for studying and looking for patterns. Overall a great tool that anyone serious about learning scales on guitar/bass/etc could find great use from.

2020-06-26 | Marlon Swai | I've given 4 stars based on my experience with Fretboard Learn which has really taken my knowledge of the fretboard to another level in record time. This app has the same explosive potential so I beg the developers for this update: please add a play along feature so that one can hear, see and follow the scale degree movements.. This would make this a monstrous learning tool. The cherry on top would be if there was also the option to practice scales to various melodic patterns.
2019-10-28 | A Google user | Fantastic way to either review scales or practice songs via tabs!!!
2018-09-26 | A Google user | Love it, would be great if you could add 8 string instrument tho
2017-11-29 | A Google user | The app is pretty effective for building a memory or a feel for scales especially if you're the intermediate player just getting into scales in a serious way. You can practice while away from the instrument and killing time, which is what I use it mostly for. You may not even need the sound on to practice locations of notes, so you can even practice in a quiet place.
2017-11-22 | A Google user | I've tried many scale apps this is my most trusted
2017-07-08 | A Google user | No diminished scale. Only shows map of notes, no modes. |
