Could send a notification in 100% of the times when a new payment waits for a confirmation, which it doesn't, but otherwise does the job.

It is not possible to activate a new cell phone without the letter you got maybe years ago to activate your old phone. The photo tan app on the old phone should be able to show a code to scan, but does not have that function even though it is mentioned multiple times on the comdirect homepage

Immediately crashes 100% of the time on my Sony Xperia 1 vi. If I clear data it works for a while and then stops again, but that means I have to go through the whole setup again. Meanwhile my activation letter no longer works. Previously I could use my old phone to display the TAN, but today when I tried it told me that the app had to be set up new. Now I have no device with a working phototan and *maybe* it will work on my old phone if I order a new letter. Absolutely hopeless.

Does not work - TAN simply does not show up in the App "Es liegt aktuell kein Auftrag zur Freigabe vor", even though I opened the app coming from the main comdirect app. Same issue on their main website or other transactions online, I have to scan their photoTANs manually. However, that is not an option when doing a mobile transaction.

An update of the photoTAN app took place on the 22nd of July. Today, the 31.07 I try to use it, and it does not open whatsoever. Tried to uninstall it, restart the phone, install it again, cleared cash - nothing, the app simply doesn't start. With every new update, they fix some issue, but it crashes something else. I asked a friend to install it on his newer phone (mine is a Samsung S10+ from 2020) and it works on his. My Andoird is up-to-date. I guess Comdirect wants me to buy a new phone now.

Trash. Why create an app that requires 3 different physical letters to activate, and it still doesn't work. This is how 2 factor authentication should be done: 1) Register for account with Username/Password 2) Confirm phone and email 3) Receive confirmations on one of these when logging in. Done, no need for separate app, pins, puks, that are not things that you will ever remember and need to keep a physical record of. German IT seems to be a good 15 years behind the rest of the world.

New update comes with new bug. Each update makes the app worse! After last update login can't be done using fingerprint. There's always error and I have to use password instead. Turning biometric on and off resolve the problem temporarily but then the problem come again after reboot. Sometimes I get a warning that I have to disable other app that can draw over other app. So now the bank try to control what app I use on my phone?? Totally unacceptable!! Stop messing around with functional app!!
