I used to switch launchers every few months because I was never satisfied with the way they functioned. I used a few text based launchers before (ones that are basically a search function), but they fell short of what I need. I eventually found a CLI launcher that I used for a bit, which was removed from the play store. I stopped using it, but decided to go back to a CLI launcher, deciding it was the best kind for me. I finally found Yantra, and I've been using it for a few years consistently.

Wonderfully simple and great for reducing screen time temptation. You can only perform tasks with purpose on this launcher, not just mindlessly hitting a pretty button or flashy widget. Plenty of flexibility to add shortcuts for the things you need to do the most. Not to mention the fun of using a CLI if you're into that thing.
