2024-10-22 | Shanaya Green | The app is extremely glitchy. They updated and it got worse. They do not respond to complaints with viable fixes. It's impossible to move past a preference form to get to your hallway to actually choose a room or house to enter. It's been like this for months. I've made 3 complaints and nothing. It's awful. I'm trying my best to move my friend group to another app. It's an unreliable platform.
2024-09-30 | Tam lala land | Update - requesting selection of 3 interests everything can't get past this screen. Please improve the app not make it worse! What the heck happened to the rooms/houses? Clubhouse was fantastic. Apparently, updates have ruined the app..bye-bye. I can't find anything, including the rooms/houses i used to follow. It keeps getting worse, and I hope everyone moves on to a better app.
2024-04-16 | Yvonne Armour-Sigars | I love the way you are able to connect with people across the world. Our room 'Wisdom for Life' has been life changing. The part that is disappointing is the functionality of the app. It drops me from the Room if I don't keep the app opened with my screen on. I used to be able to just go into the app, start the Room, and then lock my screen and keep moving, but that stopped when they made all the changes to the app recently
2024-04-06 | Kanie Kallon | It was great when you can find many clubs to join and you make friends. I recently changed my phone number, but I can't get the code or email. So I lost all the people I used to follow. If the app was like old times, when I can find random rooms on my home page. Then it would have been easier for me to just add my old crew. But now the new update is so confusing. Cant search for people. When you follow someone and it says they are on, you can't even join the room discussion. It wont let me.
2024-02-24 | Jimmy Stephens | It is quite unfortunate that my friends use this app, the only reason I use it. Clubhouse offers an unintuitive interface, annoying updates from the designers that autoplay with sound whether you like it or not, very little control over volume, a jarring switch between media and phone call mode/speaker, no text messages (which they used to have), buggy rooms, and this is just the surface of this terrible app. Discord is superior at every level.
2023-10-28 | Innerscapes Coaching | This place was great during the pandemic. They kept making changes that made it progressively worse. Now the interface is unrecognizable. Lost all followers. All the work put into the app was meaningless. All the relationships are gone except for a few. It was good while it lasted and I'm glad that I contacted people off the platform and made friendships. But this place isn't what it used to be and it no longer makes sense. If you want to keep contact with your friends, there are many apps
2023-10-16 | S G | Clubhouse went from a useful and fun platform to a frustrating, incoherent mess, literally overnight. I cannot fathom why they would change a satisfactory paradigm so radically. Worse, they seemingly have no idea how to create an intuitive user experience for the new environment. They clearly tried to repurpose the existing app, when what they needed to do was start over. Consequently, they've given us a convoluted, counterintuitive mess. Clubhouse is circling the drain, and it's a damn shame.
2023-09-25 | greg allen | UI/UX is not good. It's very hard to connect with anyone on the app. The feed is flooded with "voice messages" which is weird. There is no obvious indicator of what "rooms" are actually live. There's no way to see where your friends currently are. It honestly looks like a cheap, unplanned app. Better off saving room on your phone.
2023-09-24 | Pia Love | Clubhouse targets certain users. I made history on the app by participating in it's first International Woman's Day event. So I'm writing from experience. This app has a tracking software that records phone calls, text messages, and the location of certain users without their permission. The app at times displays a disabled block feature. It advertises private chat rooms that a designated administrator is supposed to control. However, that function was disabled several times while I used the app
2023-09-19 | Garrett Brown | A few issues have come up since the chat feature was introduced. Holding the speak button to talk is hard to do for people with moader issues. My hands shake after holding them in one place for long enough, and I’m sure it's impossible for others. Screen-reader accessibility is also broken in certain situations. I can no longer create a room now with Talkback on Android, and I’m told that IOS users have issues with it as well. These new features are OK; just fix the bugs and it'll be perfect. |
