2024-09-04 | Hostilefun (Facesforce) | I'm pretty new to these type of games, but I was looking for a decent entry point, and this was pretty intuitive. Mind you, the game assumes you know what you are doing, and the explanation is almost like reading a manual on how to fix a car, but when you are in the moment to moment, trying to get your troops to storm deeper into Axis territory, it's awesome. My advice to Joni: Consider adding a small help/tutorial for beginners to this genre of game, with bullet points if possible. 😄

2021-11-03 | Carl Woods | Good game and I really appreciate the author producing these. My main criticism that flanking is way too powerful. I have had several divisions, completely wiped out for being flanked by one weak unit. It just isnt realistic. The Allies start well, buten face insurmountable odds with dozens of German Panzer divisions. And unlike in the real campaign, The Allied air power just isnt powerful to compensate for German numbers. I would also prefer unit patch symbols rather than soldier/tank symbols.
2021-08-12 | Jeremy Gonzalez (Tek) | Great game I just need some advice I'm playing on normal mode and it's my 3rd run around within a few days and I keep reaching a point where my eastern forces keep getting pushed back and slaughtered on the way while the left side kept pushing in successfully I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I need advice lol
2021-01-25 | James Gerrard | Second of these games I've played. Same flaws. Massively unbalanced. Too many and too strong German units. You just get mobbed. Allied airpower is too weak. If Overlord was really like this the Russians would have taken Paris and 21 Army Group would have been driven into the sea. Hopeless.
2019-08-23 | A Google user | Old school turn based strategy game enhanced with a lot of details that would make a board game impractical but that here enhances and add realism to the game. One comment to the developer: consider adding an undo option applicable just to movements, not battle resolution, it is easy to make the mistake to try to select the next unit and end up commanding a move on the current selected unit, other than that very playable. Looking forward to get more games! Great job!

2017-12-09 | A Google user | Some improvements made have made this a better game than when I first bought it. Now that Joni has included an overall Hall-of-Fame, I can measure myself against the best in the world.
2017-10-19 | A Google user | Very challenging. 2-3 turns into it, the Germans attack with powerful units that you need to figure out a response to. Road movement and higher movement points than other games by the developer that I have played makes the game dynamic, where you can push quickly to take cities but the Germans can just as easily cut off your advance units. Misdirection gives the game an element if uncertainty. You have to know when to attack and when not to and it a bitter struggle to defeat the Germans. Definitely recommended.
2016-11-03 | A Google user | This is a fun game. Enjoyed it very much. Looking at the dev's other games now. There are a bunch of them, hard to choose. |
