2024-11-14 | Chris Vydas | Would rate it higher, if not for the fact it forces a connection on at random. I used it, then turned it off. Warp turned the connection back on 2 times throughout the day by itself. Both times i had to force close. Additionally, developer offers no options at startup, very intrusive and presumptuous which pisses me off. Day 2, Warp again turned itself on.... Uninstalling
2024-08-19 | Shawn Graven (Zekrom_Vale) | Looks great and appears to be encrypting my connection. However, I do have small issues with it. When swapping from cellular to my WiFi automatically, it does not apply the trusted network settings, when manually tuning off and on my WiFi it works. Second, where can I find logs to see what is not encrypted through warp. Third, I would like to see a failure only notification option, I don't like it filling up. Finally, the 5 device limit per key is just odd. Why, it's free (excluding warp+)
2022-10-06 | Arcanum | I like the app, it does what it claims to and it's literally just an "on/off" switch in terms of how to use. I'm getting into mobile games more recently and for some reason i can't connect to them with the service however regardless of mobile data or wifi access. I will repeat that i enjoy it... but I'm saddened that it doesn't always work even though that's likely not the app's fault.
2022-05-12 | Shi Yu Lin (Violet Rachel Lin) | Although it doesn't change the IP address, it's good to use, especially, when a game is showing loading sign, if this 1.1.1.1 is connected, it doesn't show any loading sign and the game runs very smoothly. Also, it also unblocks some locally blocked websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Just one thing. Since it doesn't change the IP address, I don't think it's very safe to use in some countries where there's no freedom of speech. Otherwise, it just makes a good app.
2021-09-25 | Alex Koufos | The VPN functionality is pretty good. Reasonable speeds when connected to a decent WiFi connection. However, over 4G it's super slow, half the apps and websites don't load content, as traffic gets blocked. Probably the most annoying thing about the app is the trusted network feature. It will pause when on the trusted network, but only the first time you add the network to the list. After that, you have to flip a coin, because ~50% of the time, it turns on when connected to your trusted networks.
2021-02-05 | K D | The jury is still out on this one for me..... I like it!? I love it!? But I just had to factory reset because of it. After I turned the VPN feature on, I lost all capabilities to call out. Inbound calls worked, as well as texting and data. No clue what happened, and neither did T-Mobile..... Bummer! I really like it on my computers!! THAT I highly recommend! I can't put my name to this one tho..... I gave it 2 because some of it works AWESOME!!
2020-09-11 | Lam Wam | OH. MY. GOD. My phone's wifi connection is several times faster!! π² I wasn't expecting it to help much, but this app let's my phone load web searches and images in a split-second when it would take a few. Loading videos only takes 2-3 seconds when it took up to 10 before! Phenomenal! Now please excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor! πππ It even makes cellular data only connections work faster too! Great for when you're out of the house or when you don't trust public wifi!
2020-06-19 | Adam Best | Really wanted this to work, but it just didn't live up to expectations. Spotify doesn't work at all on data with this on. WARP seemed to slow things down more than speed anything up. DNS queries for some applications/websites literally take forever. It will just sit and spin trying to make a connection. Sometimes it did work flawlessly. But its not worth keeping until it works better so I don't have to keep turning it off when I really need to get something done.
2020-01-16 | A Google user | This app worked well for me when WARP was first added. I like the idea of enhanced privacy. However, over the past month it has been completely unreliable. With WARP active my data connection hangs, apps won't work properly, pages won't load. It's almost completely useless. The only way to use my phone reliably if to disable WARP and just use 1.1.1.1 DNS but I can do that without the app.
2019-12-06 | A Google user | (Update. Can't increase my rating. it's still unusable. constant disconnects from cell network while in use. I'd love to use it, but it's not possible.) Warp unusable on cellular networks. works great on wifi. But if connected to a provider, Verizon in my case, it disconnects you from their network constantly. Any attempts to use data will disconnect you. |
