2024-11-07 | T C | This app is almost perfect. The library building feature seems to be buggy especially if you have a huge collection of music on Google drive. Once you start the scan & add process there is no indication its even doing anything after the first few seconds. I think some kind of progress monitor would be helpful. It also takes a while to remove albums that were deleted. These are minor complaints of course and overall this app is fantastic.
2024-09-24 | Sonja S. | So far this app works great with my Google Drive music files! Please don't change it! My phone doesn't have a built-in music player and this is the only one I found that works with cloud files. This is also the ONLY music player app that lets you manually sort songs, instead of limiting the choices to alphabetical/date added/etc, which is awesome. UPDATE,9/23/24: The app no longer downloads music to play offline. This is not a storage issue with my phone. It says 'source error' at times.
2024-09-23 | Lima Dee | Worked like a charm for months and then all of a sudden it won't connect to Google Drive any longer. All I get is "source error" when I open the app. Can't play anything. I have tried reinstalling, reconnecting to the drive and then restoring my playlist from backup. Same story again and again, "source error" and the where the files under the drive are supposed to be is just a blank space. Sad as this app was brilliant while it worked.
2024-09-16 | Samy M | loved this app, always wanted to listen to my google drive music without having to keep messing with my phone, it does exactly what I want to to do, interface is simple and easy, still trying to figure a few things out, but I definitely needed to full access to i purchased their premuim version and I think it's worth it.
2024-09-05 | Kashii Alcuin | **Updated** Changing to 5 starts it does exactly what I need and the developer is super responsive. Still think it's pricey at 9 bucks but still 5 stars Works with drive but it's kind of disappointing the playback speed adjustment doesn't work. I've tried to find that button for hours and I have premium. Feels like a waste of $9.
2024-09-01 | David Ocampo | I tried a lot of cloud music players for my custom collection of music tracks that has taken years to collect. I needed an easy player that organizes my collection of thousands of tracks. I found it with CloudBeats. I can now enjoy all of my cloud music by for example genre or build custom playlists all in a user friendly nice display of my album art. Of course after being very satisfied, I purchased the pro version just to help support the developer and give my thanks.
2024-08-27 | Jeff W (DrummerJSW) | I use this app to create music playlists using my song catalog on Drop Box that I use at my performances. Very handy and does the job. Giving it four stars because it would be nice to be able to move and organize playlists like you can the songs within a playlist. The paid version doesn't appear to offer that either. Please add! No complaints other than that.
2024-08-08 | Milton Dove | This app is a great idea, but has horrible execution. It is extremely buggy. A few examples include files that repeatedly fail to play or a different track will play than what is shown playing. It also routinely skips tracks or gets stuck repeating one track (no, it isn't set to shuffle or repeat - It actually tries to play other tracks, but fails). Reloading the app will occasionally resolve the problem with some tracks, so it is unlikely to be a problem with the files themselves.
2024-08-02 | Derek Andrews | Exactly what I wanted. A straightforward way to shuffle and play my Dropbox sound files. I am a musician and primarily create my own music for my own consumption. This is perfect. Feature request: make it easy to recursively shuffle a whole directory hierarchy (edit: it appears the app can do this but it seems to pick a subset of files rather than all files present in the directory tree). Thank you for this app. Got premium to support dev.
2023-12-06 | Vince Font | I had to hunt high and low to learn that casting (to Chromecast) IS supported with the pay version. Unfortunately the casting feature doesn't work well for me, constantly freezing up and restarting the song repeatedly. The casting also doesn't support displaying the album art, so my TV screen is just dark when playing tunes. It's got a good interface but needs a lot more work. |
