2024-11-26 | Daniea Noboa | Perfect browser because is super compatible with any web and is ultra fast I tested super recommendation
2024-11-10 | Ian Morgan | Updated a couple of times a day, at least ! Nigh on every day ! It seems quite a while since a crash/glitch at launch! Use a couple of flags but it's really smooth scrolling ! Canary's been a regular contender on the home page for a few years now . It's ace ! Gotta try it....run alongside the favourite . Worth trying to see what may arrive in Stable some day ! Running on Android 15, it's superb !
2024-10-09 | XJZ XNL | This Browser app is not unstable as you think! it has given me such smooth experience upon using it from time to time! thus it gives improvements here on there! update mostly but it do have some minor issue popping up!
2024-09-17 | dffMOG | encountered a 403 error after third restart of a Discord web page on Google Canary. And I would like to suggest the implementation of a button in the upper tab that can hide both the upper and lower tabs in Google Canary, to evaluate its functionality and appearance.
2023-05-03 | Robert Brown | Generally stable. Love getting new features ahead of time. Sometimes updating doesn't work, not sure why. Usually an uninstall and reinstall takes care of it. A lot of complaints are about buggy issues which are to be expected on a nightly build. And some other complaints about UI and user experience have solutions in the flags.
2022-11-19 | Tv Remote | It's a browser, it browses the web, it does browser things, the reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because 1. Not surprisingly, it's gonna crash your phone every once and a while and it's not great to have to literally unplug your battery to force shutdown the phone, and 2. It doesn't have anything that's new to people that the people already using normal chrome have for this buggy experience (at least in my month of using it), also, if a pop-up comes, it redirects you here no matter what.
2021-09-15 | Myron Fernandez | Excellent. I love the Material You changes, and the new "Follow" option for websites. Having those on the Home page next to "Discover" is just great; please add that to the stable release - it really makes Chrome much more cohesive and accessible. If there were a way to move the toolbar to the bottom, it would be near perfect. Love it.
2021-04-29 | Colin Strook | New data compression option. No bugs seen yet. Seems to be stable. Also there's an option to use your own desired DNS, not just googles by default. Changing that to Cloudflares DNS has made my resolve time tremendously faster. One bug, when selecting and copying text, once the text is selected, all the page content goes white, showing nothing. Could just be this one site, but so far promising. Go to chrome://flags/ to see all experimental features, one of which, allows GPU rendering over softwar
2020-11-14 | David Rogers | Chrome Canary is better than Chrome! I had issues with some pages not loading correctly in Chrome but have had no such problems with Canary. The only downside is that the app may crash upon update, but that is because of the beta nature of this app. Just report any crashes you may have and they'll roll out an update and fix it. Overall, this is a great way to see the newer features of Chrome before the full rollout.
2020-05-01 | Cascadia Cascade | Lightening fast with all the settings you want in a browser. The "instability" happens in the form of frozen loading pages, which happens around every 500 clicks in my experience. It's my favorite browser but the color scheme needs to be addressed, and whyTF is it called Canary? Help, Google! It's time to graduate this browser ;) |
