| 2024-11-22 |  | | So I've only been testing the app for a few days now. But I am seeing a very unstable version after another. The system freezes. ok Facebook and messenger have issues running and starting, webview has a issue because I see the arrow on screen with every app. Finally , after I agreed to test with Google, almost immediately my phones movements or flow was off. IT doesn't feel right and certainly don't work right either |
| 2024-09-15 |  | | I enjoy using it, not sure what all the differences are between the regular and beta versions are, but I do enjoy being able to see the new updates and using the latest versions. Since upgrading my phone from Galaxy Note 10+ to the Galaxy S24 ultra I haven't had issues with updating the app and reinstalling, at the end I was unable to update on the note 10 and it would never install correctly. I haven't not seen that issue on the new phone |
| 2024-06-30 |  | | This app is very helpful with my confusing Google Chrome accounts. It makes everything run very smoothly. The only thing that drives me crazy is the passwords I don't think they're getting saved to the regular Chrome browser. Chrome is much more complex than it appears on the outside. Since I opened accounts on different devices and different browsers I find a number of complex issues HAUNTING me. If I could see specific identities for each contact and each browser that would simplify my life. |
| 2023-08-04 |  | | I'm not a big Beta kinda guy but have been experiencing some problems with Chrome, lately. On opening, the first page would freeze. And, on closing all tabs, everything goes blank. So, I was up for the Beta challenge, you might say. Anyway, after figuring out how to delete the AT&T header and restore it to the previous display, it's been a pretty positive experience. And for anyone who's interested, just do this: Settings-->Home Page (on)-->Chrome's Home Page. |
| 2023-08-04 |  | | The UI is absolutely atrocious. The dark theme hardly makes anything dark anymore. The news panel was always the same as the browser settings. Going on my normal websites, nothing fits in the screen anymore. Everything is cut off in its sides and you can't read, click, or see about 60% of what's supposed to be there. Do not use this, nothing was wrong with the original chrome app. |
| 2023-04-23 |  | | Cannot stand the new boxy layout! The first 10 or 20 results are easy to read, normal, horizonal layout with a bit of information so I know if it's a result I need. Every other result from that point on is in a box layout with just the article title and a picture. So little information is given I have to click EVERY. SINGLE. ARTICLE. to know if it's what I'm looking for. SUCH waste of time, and it looks ugly/cluttered on top of it! Please make a way to change back to the old layout! |

Please allow the address bar to scroll off the top as in previous version, or make the ability to do this a top level change in the settings! I like it the way it was so I could use the entire screen for web pages, particularly useful to be able to see the entire photo! Thank you! Sincerely, Tom |
| 2021-04-29 |  | | Better than chrome basic, and chrome dev, fast, very compatible browser, it would be nice if you could use chrome extensions, unfortunately the only browser that lets you do that is Kiwi Browser. Definitely one of the fastest browsers I've used. Perfect for the average phone user. Puffin is by far the fastest browser, but it has some download permission problems that make it a chore to get to your downloads directory. |
| 2021-03-31 |  | | Hello ... I have been working out of the Chrome Beta basically as a tester. ... I have noticed it's time for the updates and then system won't allow it to update. The app misbehaves and just pauses. I'm not sure of it get it on the screen shot picture.... Nonetheless, it's happened a few times. Now I'm thinking it's some sort of glitches. I will send you a copy when I get the picture. Just a fyi. I still can't update this app. Thank you. I other then those issues everything is smooth. |
| 2020-12-30 |  | | My experience was good until the past week or so. The debug started popping up each time I changed sites or pages. I attempted to fix this in Developer Options, but was unsuccessful as it still pops up🤔 Update 12302020 I am very pleased with the performance of Chrome Beta. The browser has really increased functions and accessibility since my first review. The only thing I would be interested in changing is the amount of space that it uses. However, I'm not sure if that's changeable. |
