The story is great but in the end the game is definitely set to try and force you to be a certain type of hero especially if your trying to max out the legend score. Also the romance is cringe. Either you romance her or she basically hates you for not letting her seduce you. And what's up with the fact that at the end when you call someone for back up I chose the millennium group since I had an 88% with them and they hung up and docked my relationship score with them by almost 20%.
Choices don't really matter, you're practically forced into a romance, when you're choices do matter there's a 50% chance in nonsensical way. Ex. (Spoiler warning) I played the game choosing justice options to be a very sincere and just hero.... as a result, I couldn't save the civilian in a ultimatum. I was FORCED to save a hero instead of a reporter who should be the just one to save since it's a civilian. I'm more than a little peeved there as messed with my oc who wanted to protect people.
The story was interesting enough and I enjoyed many of the characters. That said, I would happily punch my character in the face. The way he'd gush over every hero that would appear on screen made me cringe so hard. Plus the fact that any time he entered a fight he always seemed to humiliate himself, no matter what I tried. It felt like I had no control on my character's personality or actions and it is very frustrating.
