This app is amazing for improving chess tactics and speeding up pattern recognition. It's CT-ART 4.0 course is the best for mastering tactics, but the app also offers plenty of puzzle bundles, additional courses, on a wide variety of themes and for every skill level. It's perfect for anyone who wants to think faster and play smarter chess.

Great app. Takes examples from actual games and even shows some variations of the same problem. Also, if you make a sub-optimal move it lets you know why that move is not the right one.

Best chess puzzle app to play on the subway. I can play my puzzles completely offline. I bought the Chess tactics for beginners course, that I've finished several times, and I use the app like a Woodpecker method, using the app's statistics to track my progress from one run to another. Developer is very responsive for feedbacks. A solid 5 stars

Great app for learning chess. Please add an option to flip board in all modes. Sometimes I would like to view the position from the opponent's side in order to get a different perspective of the position. Pre-move would also be nice especially when practicing a simple line in K+P vs K when there are no branches and all king moves are straight forward all the way until the pawn promotes.

It's pretty awesome. I think most people using it could substantially improve their play. I think most would hit a wall in thier improvement without a chess coach though. But if used with a human coach, the modules go up to grandmaster level problems. The lowest level modules target rank beginners. There are modules $$ for every possible skill level.

I gave it a solid 4-star rating because it truly exceeded my expectations. The app's user-friendly interface makes it easy for chess learners like myself to navigate through lessons and exercises. The variety of lessons caters to different skill levels, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

The scenarios are fine, but without explanations, they're kind of useless. After going through a scenario, I can see what the right moves were in that specific instance, but I still don't understand what I need to be looking for outside of that instance. Something like "when the opponent's queen is in such a position, try to position your queen like so" or "look for opportunities to do this, which forces your opponent to do something else" would be very helpful.
