| 2024-12-02 |  | | Personally, I preferred CT-Art 3.0. Both this program, and 3.0 are based off the book "Combination Motifs" by Maxim Blokh. Recommend ordering the material herein in order of DIFFICULTY rather then by theme, same as studying from the book version this program is based on. Same as recommended in the book, what you do is complete a single difficulty level. Then go through them again and again until you can do them quickly and error free before proceeding to the next level. |

I changed to a new phone (had purchased full version on my old phone) and logged in to the same Gmail account but it doesn't let me access the full version. However it understands that my rating was 2098 previously but doesn't let me access the full course. |

Probably the best Chess King course to try once the TacticsArt(1400-1600) seems easy and Chess King "Mate in 3,4" seems "easy-ish" (the mate in 4 puzzles are still challenging to me). The TacticsArt(1600-1800) seems more like (1800-2000) but I will give it another go after I work with this for a while. These puzzles are VERY challenging but not insane nor crazy long combinations. I dropped my Magnus Trainer subscription because Tactics Frenzy SUCKED (but the rest of it was GREAT!). |

Solve all the puzzles in Elementary Tactics 1 and 2( 1200s) and Ivaschenkos chess school 1a and 1b (1400) ( which is sold as chess tactics for beginners by this publisher) preferably, people have also solved chess combinations 1 and 2 (1600) by the same publisher. This app is WAY MORE ADVANCED and should be used by 1500 and above to get to 2000. Remember what's the point of solving hard puzzles in 10 mins if you miss simpler tactics which lose you the game over the board right? |

The latter help you when you get stuck by relaying the concept of the given puzzle but in a more basic, easily conceptualized formula. The lesser puzzles are fine but the main ones need a further hint or two before kicking you to the kiddy pool. |
