App summary
Straight Cribbage was designed to be the most convenient way to enjoy a quick, hassle-free game of cribbage. It features a competent opponent (with randomly dealt cards—there is no bias) for players who are already familiar with the game.
— No nagging—no ads, no in-app purchases, etc.;
— No slow loading time;
— No configuration or sign-in required;
— No sound;
— No permissions required;
— No hiding the basic interface elements (navigation buttons, clock, etc.);
— A small download and quick install.
Just good, clean fun, when you have a few minutes to spare.
Known limitations: When the app is closed (manually, or in the background by the OS), it does not remember the state of an ongoing game.
User reviews
I keep seeing this comment about randomized, but there's now way the opponent gets the exact card needed to take a nothing burger and turn it into a 12 pointer. Crib is a family legacy game for me and the amount of flushes the computer gets is highly suspect. I have been skunked more times in the past week, than in my life. I have been ahead by as many as 30, and the computer came back and beat me by 20. I like the game and will continue to play it for it's simplicity and I really like crib
Great ad-free game. It would be nice for novices (i.e me) to be able to step through when points are being shown at end of hand (before the combination screens) to allow time to see what is happening.
Unfair hands dealt to me. Startling, not a cribbage game I'd stick with. Trash!!
